오르피즘을 응용한 복식디자인 연구

Abstract

20세기초에 등장하여 미술사의 전환점을 이룬 입체파(Cubism)는 이후 전개될 여러 현대회화 운동에 커다란 영향을 미쳤다. 주제를 중첩된 시각을 통해 기하학적으로 재구성하는 이 운동은 오르피즘(Orphism)과 직접적인 연관을 맺고 있다. 오르피즘의 대표자인로베르 들로네(Robert Delaunay)가 입체파의 일원이 었고 또, 입체파의 기하학적 구성은 오르피즘 작가들의 작품속에서 기본적인 틀이 되고 있다. 오르피즘의 특성은 색채와 구성을 들 수 있다. 본 논문에서는 구성에 치중하여, 오르피즘의 개념과 형성과정을 이론적 배경에서 살펴보고 오르피즘의 대표적 작가의 작품을 분석하여 그 특성을 복식디자인에 응용하였으며 8점의 작품을 제작하여 오르피즘을 복식에 도입하여 보았다. 작품의 소재는 인조우단, 마직, 니트류이고, 각각 같은 질감을 사용하고 구성한 무늬를 오려내어 바탕천에 아플리케(Applique) 패치워크(Patch work)하였다. 문양을 강조하기 위해 인조보석. 장식테이프 등을 사용하였다. 본 연구를 통해 20세기초의 오르미즘을 현대복식에 도입하여 오르피즘에 대한 현대적인 해석을 하고 복식디자인의 다양하고 새로운 방향을 제시하고자 하였다.;Orphism came ont from the classification of Cubism made by G. Apollinaire, as he referred to a series of "abstract" group works as Orphic Cubism. While the cubists, such as Pablo Picasso and Georges Braque, analyzed the figure and reorganized it geometrically rather than use the color, orphists, representing by Robert Delaunay, thought of the color as the key element of paintings so they composed the picture in this way. They correlated the emotion and harmony which is latent in the inside of human mind with the pure color of prism, by this they tried to make an embodyment of mystic and abstract life for our feeling of dynamic atmosphere. After all, the liberal presentation of line and color in Orphism played an important role in the arrival of new abstract stage, and had a great influence on the abstract paintings afterward. In this paper, first I tried to search for the emergence of Orphism with reference to the Cubism as the theoretical background of Orphism. And I looked into the works of Orphist, like R.Delaunay, Frank kupka, Fernand Le´ger, Francis Pieabia etc., as the development of the Orphism. And then I investigated the cases in custom design to which several movement in paintings is applied. I have made 8 works, containing artifical velvet, linen and knit, taking the abstract composition of orphist work as a motive, reorganizing the figure in the fabrics and doing the applique patch work, using the artifical jewelry and tape to emphasizing the figure. In conclusion, I tried to import the 20C's Orphism to the modern custom and to reorganize it so that I might present a new and various way in custom design.
