전통적 단청문양을 이용한 율동적표현

Abstract

어느 민족이나 국가이든 그들 고유의 문화가 있고 그 고유의 문화는 고유정신과 기후, 풍토, 시대성, 정치의 상황에 의해서 그 민족의 전통적인 미술문화를 형성하게 된다. 따라서 본 논문은 우리나라 단청문양을 통하여 우리 민족의 생활 양식을 이해하고 그 기저에 흐르는 민족의 미의식을 재발견하며 나아가 단청문양에 나타난 민족적 정서를 현대적 감각에 맞게 재현하고자 한다. 이러한 목적을 위하여 이론적 배경에서는 1. 인간의 조형성을 규명함으로써 인간생활과 조형과의 불가분의 관계를 개관하고 2. 인간의 조형본능에서 생겨난 각종 조형의 양식화 과정을 살펴 보고 3. 양식화된 우리의 전통문양의 특색을 고찰한다. 이러한 이론적 배경을 바탕으로 작품제작에 있어서의 방법론은 제작요소인 단청문양을 고찰하고 문양의 변형을 통해 표현될 공간의 형성과정을 살펴봄으로 연구자의 표현 세계를 구축한다. 그리하여 6점의 작품을 제작 분석하는 과정에서 다음과 같은 결론에 도달할 수 있었다. 1. 문양의 연구는 염색디자인은 물론 많은 부분에 다양하게 응용할 수 있으므로 보다 계획적이고 特稱적인 연구를 필요로 하며 2. 단청문양에 나타난 특징들을 한국적인 상징과 전통으로 정립하고 현대적 감각에 맞도록 발전시킨다면 한국 고유의 독특한 예술 장르가 될 것이라 생각한다. 3. 제작 과정에서 단청미의 표현중 기법상 어려움이 있었으나, 염색특유의 농담으로 공간성의 표현과 시각적 효과를 얻을 수 있었다. 한편 작품제작 과정에서 몇가지 문제점과 아쉬움을 남겼으나, 앞으로 계획적인 연구를 통해 문제점을 해결하고 심층적 연구를 지속화 시킴으로써 차원높은 조형미술의 창조에 더욱 노력하고자 한다.;Every people and nation has their own culture and it comes to create the traditional art-culture by the situation of the peculiar spirit, climate, natural features, period and politics. Therefore this thesis is written to help one understand the way of life of our people through our Dancheong Patterns and rediscover the consciousness of the beauty of the people beginning with the source and reviving the nationl feeling to complement the modern sense. For this purpose, when we examine the theoretical background 1. We survey the inevitable relation between human life and molding by examining the molding of human being. 2. We examine the process style of all sorts of molding created from human being's instinct of molding. 3. We consider the characteristic of our traditional patterns by Stylization. On the basis of this theoretical background, methodology in a production of work conveys the expression world of the researcher through the process of development and consideration of Dancheong petterns which is one of the factors of production. And I came to the following conclusion in the process of producing and analyzing the six works. 1. Preserving our own tradition by applying the abundant form and color which Bancheong Patterns has and absorbing our own trdition to fit our modern life. 2. In the process of production the expression of Dancheong beauty can produce the expression of space and the effect of sight through the shading of peculiar dyeing. The study of traditional and peculiar beauty is made to succeed and develop the stylishness and feeling dwelling in the style of our various cultures and leave them to posterity and continue the concentrated research.
