HENRI-MATISSE의 작품을 응용한 복식 디자인 연구

Abstract

현대는 인간의 개성과 독창성, 다양성을 추구하려는 미적욕구의 한 방법으로 단순히 입는다는 면에서 더 나아가 조형성을 강조한 예술품으로써 회화작품의 독창성을 복식디자인에 도입, 응용하여 새로운 조형적 창조물을 추구해 나가고 있다. 따라서 본 연구는 현대 회화의 장을 열고 20세기 회화발전의 기폭제 역할을 하였던 야수파의 기수인 앙리 마티스(HENRI-MATISSE 1899~1954)의 독창성, 순수성, 단순성의 회화세계중 그의 만년에 보인 독자적인 표현기법이라 일컬어지는 색종이 작업의 단순화한 형과 색의 작품을 중심으로 독특한 조형미를 복식에 도입하여 현대적 감각에 부합되는 개성적이고 창의적인 작품을 창작해 새로운 표현 가능성을 모색해 보고자 하였다. 본 연구의 이론적 배경으로는 앙리 마티스의 작품 세계와 현대 복식의 영감원으로서의 회화와 복식의 관계를 살펴 보았고, 이것을 토대로 하여 작품을 제작하였다. 작품은 이론적 배경을 토대로 하여 앙리 마티스의 색종이 작품의 단순성과 독창적인 색채를 복식에 도입하여 시각적 배색효과로 형을 표현하고자 디자인 하였으며 실물 8점을 제작하였다. 본 연구의 결론은 다음과 같다. 첫째, 순수색의 사용으로 형과 색의 단순미를 강조한 앙리 마티스의 색종이 작품의 예술적 특성이 독창적이고 단순미를 추구하는 현대복식의 새로운 조형미와 잘 부합됨을 알게 되었다. 둘째, 2차원적의 평면적인 회화작품을 3차원적의 입체적이고 동적인 인체에 도입함으로씨 복식이라는 조형예술로의 응용방법을 확대시켜 나갈 수 있었다. 셋째, 순수예술에서 추구하고자 하는 바가 복식디자인의 새로운 영감과 모티브를 제공하여 인간의 내면적 욕구와 미적 감각의 표현으로서의 복식과의 상호관련성을 알 수 있었다. 넷째, 앙리 마티스의 색종이 작품을 응용하는데 있어 패치워크 기법을 이용함으로써 정교함에서 의상의 실루엣에도 직접 영향을 주지 않으면서 제한된 복식 공간에서 조형성을 나타낼 수 있었다. 또한 색채구성이 자유로와 시각적 배색효과를 표현하기에 좋아 이 기법이 앙리 마티스의 색종이 작품의 색과 형을 표현하는데 있어 잘 부합됨을 알 수 있었다. 이와 같이 회화양식의 복식에의 응용은 순수예술과 복식과의 관계를 알고, 복식의 예술적, 미적 감각을 높여준다. 따라서 복식에 있어 미술적 요소의 폭 넓은 활용으로 예술성있는 작품을 창작하여 시대에 부합되는 독창적인 복식 디자인으로의 연구가 뒤 따라야 할 것이고, 예술로써의 질적 향상을 꾀하여야 할 것이다.;It is seeking the new creation of modeling characteristic, by introducting and applying the originality of painting work to the design of dress and ornaments, with the work of art to advance from the side to wear simply and to emphasize the modeling nature, as one method of aesthetic desire to try to pursue human individuality, originality, and diversity. The purpose of this study is to try to create the work which corresponds with the modern meaning and sense, by introduction the peculiar modeling beauty to dress and ornaments, centering around the colored paper drawing which is referred to as the independent expression technique that he showed in the latter part of his life, out of the painting world of originality, purity and simplicity of Henri Matisse(1899~1954), flagman of Fauvist who opened the field of modern painting and played the role of initial explosive of the painting development of the 20th century. As the theoretical background of this study, the painting world of Henri Matisse and the relation between painting and dress and ornaments were examined. And, on the basis of this, work as manufactured. The works were designed by introducing the simplicity of and autonomous color nature of the colored paper drawing of Henri Matisse to dress and ornaments, on the basis of theoretical background. And, 8 pieces of real things were manufactured. The conclusion of this study is follows : First, it could be seen that the artistic feature of Henri Matisse to simplify the form and emphasize the color corresponds with the new modeling beauty of modern dress and ornaments to pursue the original and simple beauty well. Second, the new modeling beauty could be created, by introducing the painting works of plane characteristic to the three-dimentional and dynamic human body. Third, it could be seen that what is tried to be pursued in the pure art is the mutual relevancy between human inner desire and the dress and ornaments as the expression of aesthetic sense, by offering new inspiration and motive of the design of dress and ornaments. Fourth, it could be seen that colored paper drawing of Henri Matisse the applicaton of using the patchwork technic, you can express harmorny with easy to compose color. This patchwork technic as the expression form and color corresponds with colored paper drawing of Henri Matisse. Like this, the application of painting mode to dress and ornament will have to be followed by the study of original design of dress and ornaments which corresponds with period, through the wide utilization of aesthetic element and the creation of artistic works in the dress and ornaments, by knowing the relation between pure art and dress and ornaments and having a new appreciation of the artistic nature of dress and ornaments.
