동화일러스트레이션의 표현방법에 관한 연구

Abstract

남을 즐겁게 한다는 것은 좋은 일이나 쉬운 일은 아니다. 특히 어린이를 기쁘게 해준다는 것은 성장기에 있어 더 할 수 없는 성격 형성의 모태이며 밝고 긍정적인 가치관을 형성하는데 절대적인 중요성을 가지고 있다. 어린이들의 경험은 주위 환경의 좁은 범위 안에 한정되어 있다. 그러므로 어린이들은 동화책을 통해서 직접 경험할 수 없는 미지의 세계에 대한 동경과 함께 그 세계 안에서 자신이 직접 주인공이 되어 마음껏 상상의 나래를 펼칠 수 있게 되며, 지식의 습득 뿐 아니라 어린이 자신의 좁은 환경이 넓어져서 새로운 시야가 펼쳐진 듯한 상상을 하게 된다. 어린이가 동화책을 읽기 시작하는 것은 거기에 일러스트레이션이 있기 때문인데 단조로움이나 반복을 좋아하지 않는 어린이들에게 상상력을 불러일으키며 이야기의 세계로 끌어들이는 역할을 해야 한다. 그것은 일러스트레이터의 손에 의해 그려지지만 어린이가 현실과 상상의 세계를 어떻게 느끼는 가를 연구하는 일러스트레이터의 해석에 의하여 그려진다고 할 수 있다. 이에 본 논문은 어린이들에게 이해되기 쉬우며 효과적인 시각정보의 정리라는 관점에서 볼때 동화일러스트레이션이 설득력을 가지게 되기 위해서는 다양한 표현방법을 통한 즐거움을 줄 수 있는데 그 목적을 둔다. 작품제작에 있어서는 사물의 단순한 재현이 아닌 일러스트레이터의 해석을 강조하고 어린이들에게 상상의 세계를 열어주기 위한 방법으로 광위적 의미에서의 Deformation효과를 통하여 어린이들이 이해하기 쉬운 일러스트레이션을 표현하고자 하였다. 또한 일반적인 의미의 숙달된 묘사력이 아닌 자유로운 시야로 자기만의 표현을 발견하고 새로운 대상을 창조하여 어린이들에게 즐거움을 줄 수 있을 뿐만 아니라 동화책을 읽어주는 어른에게도 기쁨을 줄 수 있는 좋은 친구였으면 한다.;To make others happy is a good matter but is not easy. Especially, to make children happy becomes one of the most significant grounds upon which they can develop well-harmonized personalities in their growing ages, and also has an absolute importance in forming positive views of value. Children's experiences are to be limited within a small range of environments. Therefore, the children may travel their mysterious worlds through the fairy tale books, and come to imagin, widen children's narrow environments as well as gaining to knowledge, with the mysterious worlds' longing beyond their narrow environments, as if their scope of eyes become wide. The reason why children start to read fairy tale books is because there are illustrations, so it must play a role to have them evoke in their imagination and guide into a world of the story escaping from being tedious or repeated. Though, it is drawn by the illustrator's hands but, it, may be said that it is drawn by the illustrator's interpretation who studies how children feel an actual situation and a imaginary worlds. In a viewpoint of the arrangement's opinion. It is easy and effective for children to understand. The illustration must have the aim of giving the pleasure through various expressions that may 'deform' certain things so as to get to have a. persuasion. In this study, there is not mere reappearance of things but the emphasis of the illustrator's interpretation. In many means, I tried to express the illustration the children can understand through the deformation effect as the way to open the imaginary illustration world to children. Also, the point it must not be such a. thing that is solely dependent upon the skillful descriptive ability of the general meaning but, rather, it should create new objects upon free eyes and expressions of self's own, and, I hope It's a good friend to read the fairy tale books to adults as well as to give the pleasure to children.
