우리나라 중년여성을 위한 디자인 연구

Abstract

This thesis is an analytical study on clothing-design for Korean middle-aged women, mainly 40's and 50's. Middle age is the time of the most important meaning in life and also the time of physical and mental change, which offers new social activities for self-development. The researcher studied in many aspects on the clothes which middle-aged women need to wear during this period of change. For this purpose the researcher investigated Korean middle-aged women's preferring designs through theoretical study with the documents and through the study about the products of madam-size ready-made brands in seoul randomly chosen by the researcher. On the basis of the result the researcher designed nine pieces of works which are suitable to middle-aged women, considering designs, colors and materials. The result of this study are as follows ; 1. As for designs, Korean middle-aged women prefer comfortable designs considering thier physical features. 2. As for materials, they prefer washable materials for spring and autumn wears and natural materials such as wool, silk and velvet for winter. 3. As for colors, they prefer clear colors to vague ones.;本 論文은 우리나라 中年期 女性을 위한 衣裳디자인을 硏究檢討한 것이다. 中年期는 人生에 있어서 가장 중요한 의미를 갖는 時期이며, 또한 身體的 · 精神的 變化期로서 自己發展을 위한 새로운 社會活動을 할 수 있는 時期이다. 따라서 이러한 變化期에 있어서 中年女性이 필요로 하는 衣服은 어떠한 것인가를 여러 측면에서 考察하여 보았다. 이를 위하여 문헌자료를 통한 理論的 考察과 硏究者가 임의로 선정한 中年期 女性을 위한 旣成服 業體를 대상으로 中年女性의 선호 디자인을 調査하였으며, 그 結果를 바탕으로 디자인 · 색상 · 소재면에서 中年女性에게 알맞는 作品 9點을 製作하였다. 本 硏究의 結果는 다음과 같다. 첫째, 우리나라 中年女性들은 身體的 特徵을 고려한 活動하기에 편안한 디자인을 선호한다. 둘째 소재는 春秋用으로는 물세탁이 가능한 소재를 선호하며, 겨울용은 모직과 견, 벨벳효과를 내는 소재를 선호한다. 셋째 색상은 연한 색상보다 진한 색상을 선호한다.
