소유에서 오는 허무에 관한 일러스트레이션

Abstract

Always reaching for a more higher and wealthier place is the nature of human being. Because of unbearable solitude, unknown cause of anxiety and a sense of emptiness as if we have lost something due to this endless continuation of desire to possess, we have lost our spiritual security and we are wandering about. This purpose of this research is to make us think over where the ture goal and value of life lies by looking objectively at the image of ourselves which fell deeply into such vainess as desire of possessing. Therefore in Chapter Ⅱ, placing the importance of this issue in the enormous tragedy it will invite by thinking that, since most of us only concentrate most natural way of survival. I have concluded that setting a definite difference between possession and existence and also when we become existent being by finding the problem arising from desire to possess and the capability within us, we could surmount these problems. In Chapter Ⅲ, I have represented the images of humen being after possessing any of these; honour, wealth, power and pleasure, in 4 stages by surrealistic illustration. The character appearing in this illustration is irrespective of age and sex and also there is no indication of the status. So every individual could reflect themselves in this illustration allowing the chance to face upon oneself and reality by coming in contact with this illustration which turned out to be a tragic conclusion.;인간은 언제나 보다 높고 보다 풍요로운 곳을 향하여 나아가길 원한다. 이러한 끊임없이 계속되는 소유욕으로 인해 견딜 수 없는 고독과 원인모를 불안, 그리고 무엇인가 잃어버릴 것 같은 공허감으로 인해 정신적 안정을 잃고 방황하고 있다. 본 연구는 이렇듯 허망한 소유욕에 빠진 우리들의 모습을 객관적으로 바라다봄으로서 진정한 人生의 목표와 가치가 어디에 있는가를 다시 한번 생각하게 하는데 그 목적이 있다. 따라서 우선 Ⅱ章에서는 우리의 대부분이 소유하는데만 전념하므로서 그 소유양식이 가장 당연한 생존양식이라는 엄청난 비극을 초래한다는데 그 문제의 중요성을 두어, 소유와 존재의 차이를 확실히 하고 또한 모든 소유욕에서 발생되는 문제와 우리가 우리 자신 속의 능력을 찾을 수 있는 실존적 존재로서 있을 때 그 문제들은 극복되어질 수 있다고 결론지었다. Ⅲ章에서는 명예, 부, 권력, 혹은 쾌락 등의 그 어떤 것을 소유하고 난 후의 인간의 모습을 4 커트(cut)의 단계적인 초현실기법의 일러스트레이션으로 표현했다. 본 일러스트레이션에 등장하는 인물은 남성, 여성의 구별도 없고, 나이의 구분도 없으며, 지위를 나타내는 표시도 없다. 즉, 우리 모두가 각자 자신을 이 그림에 투영시켜 볼 수 있으므로 해서 자신을 직시할 기회를 부여하고자 하였다. 비극적이랄 수 있는 결말로 나타난 本 일러스트레이션을 접하므로 해서 현실적으로는 자유롭고 좀 더 성숙된 삶이 되어지길 바란다.
