民世 安在鴻의 歷史認識

Abstract

일반적으로 歷史認識은 그 時代의 社會的 要求를 반영하고 이를 解決하려는 過程에서 형성된다. 韓國의 近代的 歷史認識 역시, 19C 後半과 20C 初 우리 社會가 當面하였던 時代的 課題를 반영하면서 發展하여 왔다. 이러한 背景下에 1930年代 以後 등장한 新民族主義史學은, 종전의 觀念的 民族主義에서 進一步하여 民族史의 새로운 進路모색을 위해 독특한 史論을 전재시켰다. 卽, 안으로는 階層間의 갈등을 극복하여 民族團結을 이루고, 밖으로는 國際平和를 추구하는 개방적 民族主義로서, 中和協同의 이념을 강조하였다. 이와 같은 新民族主義的 史論은 現時代가 當面하고 있는 民族的 위기인 分斷問題와, 이를 극복하기 위한 새로운 理念의 創出이란 觀點에서 새롭게 재조명되어야 할 것이다. 本 硏究는 이러한 맥락에서, 民世 安在鴻을 대상으로 史學史的 접근을 하고자 하는 것이 目的이다. 이에 따라, 民世의 歷史書인 「鮮朝上古吏鑑」을 中心으로 하여 살펴본, 本支의 주요내용은 다음과 같다. 우선, 民世의 新民族主義史觀은 많은 點에서 民族主義史學의 영향을 받았으나, 社會經濟史學的 方法 역시 함께 수용하여, 또다른 史學으로 새롭게 창출시켰다는 點에서 史學史的인 重要性이 부각된다. 또한 申采浩, 鄭寅普 등 기존의 民族主義史學者와의 관계는 역사접근방법에서 차이점을 발견할 수 있는 바, 이는 安在鴻의 독특한 위치를 설정하는 중요한 논거가 될 것이다. 한편, 民世의 新民族主義史觀은, 종래 傳統的 民族主義史觀에 民主性 普遍性을 첨가하여 民族史를 재해석하려는 입장을 보이고 있다. 이는 民族史를 보는 眼目이 民族抗爭史의 차원에서 한 단계 도약하였음을 의미한다. 그리고 이러한 안목을 바탕으로, 人類社會史와 思想史的 보편원리에 입각한 새로운 해석을 시도함으로써, 古代史 硏究에 나름대로 독창성을 보이고 있다. 또한 民世는 硏究方法論에 있어 그의 광범위한 社書科學的 소양을 바탕으로, 당시 계통을 달리하던 歷史的 입장을 종합 수용하는 等 다양한 접근을 시도하고 있다. 이에 對하여는, 당시 一元的 경향으로 흐르던 韓國史學에 새로운 硏究 영역을 제시하는 한편, 科學的 歷史學으로의 發展에도 큰 공헌을 했다고 평가할 수 있겠다.;In general, the historical consciousness is formed in the procedure which reflects the social needs of the times and resolves the problems of the times. Korean modern historical consciousness also has grown with the change with our society has faced in the late 19c and the eraly 20c. Under this circumstance, having been advanced from the ideal nationalism in the past, historical science of New-nationalism which has turned up since 1930's has developed the unique theory for the search of new way in national history. This try has to be reinvestigated in the aspects of the devision problem which is the another crisis of nation that this times are faced and of the production of the new ideology to surmount of this. In the veins of this, to examine the history against the An Jae-hong (Min Se) , who was not still manifested in spite of his advocate of New-nationalism, is the intention of this study. The contens of this study in the point of Chosun Sango Sa Gham, Min Se's work of history are summarized as follows. First of all, its importance of historical sience are closed up in that it also included the method of Social-economical history and it was developed coordinately though Min Se's historical view of New nationalism was started over history of Dan Jae. And also, that the differences in the methods of historical approach were found in the relation to the other historian of New-nationalism such as Shon Jin-tae Moon Lill-pyeong is the important clue of discussion to establish the unique position of An Jae-hong. On the other side, Min Se's New-nationalism gave a point of view to re-analysis the national history in addition to the universality of democracy to the traditional nationalism. This indicated that the sense to the national history leaped up in the level of national struggle history. And from this sense, it shower the uniqueness in the study of the history of ancient times by the try of new interpretation based on the history of human society and thought. And, in the methology of study, Min Se has tried the various approachs as he included the different aspects that had other systems in that times with his broad social sientic foundation. For this, the estimation can be given that it devoted greatly to the development of history as a sience while it represented new area to Korean history which has run only one side.
