고등학교 미술과 학습의 환경실태에 관한 연구

Abstract

In order to educate an aesthetic human through Art, Art lessons as a link of 'whole human being education" identifies the activities of expression and impression with the process of formation in humanity. But no matter how excellent an educational object may be, which requires effective establishments and facilities for the sake of achieving it concretely. The object of this research is based on the investigation of operating a course of study in educational environments of art lessons with an emphasis on necessary establishments and facilities. The survey of this research selecting total 36 senior high schools of 17 public and 18 private senior high schools divided a region into two pieces (south of the river and north of the river) on general senior high schools in Seoul investigated the conditions of art room and teaching tools and the realities of operating a course of study through interviews with teachers and asked opinions concerning the conditions of art room and teaching tools through a distribution of questionairs on 40 students. The results of the analysis on interviews and questionaires concerning the conditions of art room and teaching tools, operating of a course of study are as follows. 1. Investigation of conditions The conditions of art room and teaching tools show private senior high schools are higher rate of hold than public ones and in regional comparison, South of the river is higher rate of hold than North of the river. But all of these are below the facilities standard statute of Department of Education concerning the facilities and teaching tools of art lessons. 2. Analysis of interviews In analysis of operating a course of study, in case of senior students except only students going on to Art College, the lessons are on theory based curriculum as a preparation for College Enterance Examination. Therefore they detached from the primary purpose of art lessons. In addition, the first-line teachers were in a difficulty on operating a course of study for the lack of art room and teaching tools. 3. Analysis of questionaires Most of students receive art lessons in general class room and are aware of the need for the teaching tools and feel the lack of the teaching tools. In addition, they want to receive lensons in wide, full-equipped and opened art room. In this way, the conditions of the facilities and teaching tools on educational environments of art lessons of senior high schools were below school establishments and facilities standard statute of Department of Education and the hypothesis of being in heavy difficulty on operating a course of study was verified.;미술교육은 全入敎育의 일환으로 미술을 통해 탐미적인 인간을 양성하며 이를 위해 표현활동 및 감상활동 자체를 인간형성의 과정과 동일시 하고 있다. 그러나 아무리 훌륭한 교육목표라 해도 이를 구체적으로 전개하기 위한 효과적인 施設과 設備가 필요하다. 본 연구의 목적은 고등학교 미술과 학습의 교육환경에 있어서 美術敎科에 필요한 시설 및 설비를 중심으로 교과운영을 조사하는 데 있다. 본 연구의 방법은 서울시내 일반계 고등학교를 중심으로 공립 18개교, 사립 18개교, 총36개교를 대상으로 강남 · 강북지역으로 나누어 미술실현황 및 교구현황, 교과운영의 실태를 면담을 통해 교사에게 조사하고, 학생 440명을 대상으로 질문지를 배부하여 미술 및 교구현황에 대해 의견을 물었다. 미술실 및 교구현황, 교과운영에 대한 면접과 질문지의 분석 결과는 다음과 같다. 1 . 현황조사 미술실 및 교구현황은 사립이 공립보다 높은 보유율을 보였고, 지역별 비교에 있어서 강남이 강북보다 보유율이 높았다. 그러나 미술교과에 필요한 시설 및 교구는 모두 문교부 시설 기준령에 미달된다. 2 . 면담분석 교과운영 분석에서는 3학년의 경우 미술교과의 목표와 거리가 먼 입시 위주로 미술대학에 진학 할 학생들만이 이론 중심의 교과운영을 하고 있었다. 또한 일선교사들은 미술실 및 교구의 부족으로 교과운영상 어려움을 겪고 있었다. 3 . 질문지 분석 대부분의 학생들은 보통교실에서 미술수업을 받고 있었으며, 교구의 필요성을 인식하고 부족한 교구에 대해 아쉬워 하는 실정이었다. 또한 넓고 시설이 완비된 개방된 미술교실에서 수업 받기를 원하고 있다. 이와같이 고등학교 미술과의 교육환경에 있어서 시설 및 교구현황은 문교부의 '학교시설 · 설비 기준령 '에 미달되고 있으며, 교과운영상 커다란 어려움을 겪고 있으리라는 가설이 검증되었다.
