辭說時調의 쟝르적 특성

Abstract

시조문학은 크게 平時調와 辭說時調로 二分되는데 이 두 詩歌形態는 공통성과 이질성을 동시에 지니고 있어, 이들의 관련양상을 밝히기 위해 辭說時調의 構造的 特性과 意味特性을 분석하여, 사설시조가 평시조로부터 어떤 면을 계승·변화시켰나를 살핀다. 그 결과 나타나는 여러 양상이 詩歌文學史上 사설시조의 位置를 재조명해 보는데 이바지할 것이다. 분석결과를 요약하면 다음과 같다. 1 . 사설시조의 構造的 特性에서는 意味展開에 따른 同意型 · 反意型 · 綜合型에서는 平時調의 三章構造의 구조적 원형이 그대로 계승되며, 構成方式에 따른 논리형 · 대화형 · 나열형에서는 일부의 對話型과 羅列型에서 三章構造의 일반형에 다소 변화가 일어남을 確認하였다. 2 . 사설시조의 題材에서는 관념적 題材의 작품과 구체적 제재의 작품으로 구분되는데 觀念的 題材의 작품에서는 平時調처럼 유교적 理想과 추상화된 自然을 노래하였고, 具體的 題材의 작품에서는 일상 현실세계에서 具體的 生活모습을 적나라하게 표현하였다. 3 . 사설시조에서의 '님'은 平時調에서 처럼 관념의 님, 이별의 님, 님의 不在가 노래되기도 하고, 또 한편으로는 만남의 님, 나의 님이 노래되었다. 사설시조에 독특하게 나타나는 님에 대한 작자의 태도가 적극성을 띠고 있음을 알 수 있다. 4 . 이상의 분석 결과를 詩歌史的 위치에서 살펴보면, 平時調에서 보다 많은 對話型의 도입은 詩意를 效果的으로 전달하고자 하는 의도였으며, 사설시조에서 具體的 題材의 도입은 평시조의 한정된 詩的 空間을 보다 폭넓게 넓힌 것으로, 이러한 점은 오늘날의 현대시와 많은 닮은 점이 있다고 할 수 있다.;Sijo literature as a Korean poem is divided broadly into two categories, that is, a three-verse (i.e., Pyung Sijo) and the middle-verse with unilimited length (i.e., Saseol Sijo). The two types in poetry of Korea take both commonness and heterogenity. This study attempts to observe the literary characteristis which Saseol Sijo has succeeded to Pyung Sijo and given changes to sijo literature though analyzing the s tructural and meaning characteristic in Saseol Sijo, to clear relationship between them. Some aspects obtained from this study may help to illuminating the position of Saseol Sijo in poetical literature. The results are summarized as follows: 1. In the structural characteristic, the structural form of three verses in Pyung Sijo has retained its original form for synonymous, repetitive and synthetic style derived from the development of meanings. In contrast, the general three-verse structure has shown a slight change for a part of dialogic and arranging style of logic, dialogic and arranging one derived from the method of construction. 2. Material in Saseol Sijo can be divided roughly into ideal material and concrete one. In the ideal material in Ssaeol Sijo, Confucian ideas and abstracted nature are celebrated, on the contrary, the concrete living conditions in everyday life are expressed in the concrete material. 3. In Saseol Sijo, 'You' as a lover is celebrated as a love of idea and separation, or as the absence of love, in addition to as a love of assignation and of own. Furthermore, writers show a positive attitute to 'You' peculiar to Saseol Sijo. 4. Judging from the aspect of poetry with these results, Saseol Sijo shows a intention of effective transmission in meanings of poem by introduction of relatively large number of dialogic style, and the introduction of concrete materials broadens the poetic space in Pyung Sijo. These aspects in Saseol Sijo have many points of similarity to modern poems in these days.
