국민학교 어린이들의 체격 체력 및 인성과의 상관관계

Abstract

본 연구는 국민학교 어린이의 실체적 변인인 체격과 체력이 인성 과 어떤 관계가 있는가를 남 여별 학년별로 알아보려는데 목적이 있었으떠 그 연구 문제를 보면 다음과 같다. 첫째, 신체적 변인인 체격과 인성과의 사이에 어떤 관계가 있나? 둘째, 신체적 변인인 체력과 인성과의 사이에 어떤 관계가 있나? 위와 같은 문제를 해결하기 위하여 체격과 체력검사를 학교보건 관계벌 중 국민학교 신체검사 규정에 의하여 실시했고 인성검사를 수행하기 위하며 정 범모 제작의 국민학교 인성검사를 실시하였다. 통계처리는 체격검사와 체력검사 및 인성검사의 각 성적을 산출하고 표준점수로 환산한 다음 적율 상관계수로 산출하였다. 이상의 연구과정을 통해서 체격 체력 및 인성과의 관계에서 다음 과 같은 결론을 얻었다. 첫째 체격요인과 인성요인의 상관관계에서 보면 1) 남자의 경우 키가 큰 학생 일수록 지배성이 강하게 나타났다. 2) 체중은 인성의 어떤 요인과도 상관이 없게 나타났다. 3) 남자의 경우 흉위가 큰 학생 일수록 충동성이 강하게 나타났다. 둘째 체력 요인과 인성 요인간의 상관에서 보면 1)여자의 경우 100 m 달리기와 지배성 안정성 사회성 사이에 는 아주 낮은 상관이 있다. 2) 제자리 넓이뛰기와 턱걸이와 인성의 각 요인 사이에는 상관이 없다는 3) 남자의 경우 던지기와 활동성 지배성 충동성 사회성 사이에 상관이 있다. 4) 여자의 경우 윗몸 일으키기와 활동성 사이에는 상관이 있다.;1. Objectives of Study An emphasis is placed on elementary school period in that much growth and development in children are made in that period. It is a significant fact that physical activities are corrected with physical variances and other factors connected with them in the growth and development of physical body, and with the ensemble correlation by which the physical body and mind can be developed in harmony. In this respect, this study intends to clarify the correlations between physique and character, between physical factors, a part of physical capabilities and personality, a part of mental and social abilities. 2. Methods Used Physique and physical fitness tests were conducted according to the Physical Check-up Regulation to analyse physical variances, and personality test according to Elementary School Children Personality Test by Chung, Beom Mo. 3. Subjects of Study Effectively to perform the study were taken total 284 children from the Demonstration Elementary School of Ewha Womans University, including 72 boys, 73 girls of 5th grade, and 72 boys, 67 girls of 6th grade. 4. Contents of Test a. Physique 1) Weight 2) Body Weight 3) Girth of Chest b. Physical Fitness 1) 100-running 2) Throwing 3) Standing Broad Jump 4) Pull-ups 5) Sit-ups c . Personality 1) General Activity 2) Dominance 3) Emotional Stability 4) Impulsiveness 5) Reflectiveness 6) Sociability 5. Findings First, viewed from the correlation between physi- que and personality factors, 1) It is found that the taller in stature school boys are, the stronger dominance they are gifted with. 2) It is revealed that physical weight is not related to any of personality factors. 3) The larger girth of chest school boys have, the more impulsiveness they have. Second, viewed from the correlation between physical fitness and personality factors, 1) A considerably low correlation is found in school girls, among 100m-running, dominance, emotional stability and sociobility. 2) No correlation is presented among standing broad jump, pull-ups and personality factors. 3) A significant correlation is seen in school boys, among throwing, general activity, dominance, impulsiveness. 4) A considerable correlation is shown in school girls, between sit-ups and general activity.
