傳統 紋樣을 利用한 染色의 實用化

Abstract

주공간에서의 염색 실용품의 기능은 경제 성장에 따른 생활 수준의 향상과 함께 個性化되는 새로운 變化를 가져오고 있다. 이는 주공간을 보다 아름답게 하기 위한 한 方法으로 染色의 生活 空間의 活用을 모색하려는데 있다. 주공간 염색의 실용성 추구를 위해 이론적 배경으로 현대 산업 사회에서의 수공예 염색의 실용성과 주공간의 특성 및 실용품에 대해 언급하였으며 시장 조사를 통해 소비자의 선호도를 분석 작품 제작에 참고하였다. "가장 민족적인 것이 가장 世界的인 것"이라는 말은 獨創性의 意義에 對한 해석으로 전통 문양의 현대화를 위한 조형적 활동의 수단으로 문헌을 통한 자료 수집과 함께 전통 문양에서 기하학적 형태를 추출하여 이를 표현 소재로 선택 실제로 안방과 거실에서 사용되는 실용품을 제작, 분석하는 과정에서 다음과 같은 결론을 얻었다. 첫째, 디자인 개발에 노력하고 있는 현 상황에서 우리 전통의 미적 요소를 기하학적 형태로 현대화하며 염색 작품으로 실제화 하는 작업은 시대적 사조에 비추어볼 때 의의있는 일이다. 둘째, 공예의 참된 기능은 예술성과 실용성의 적절한 균형에 있다고 볼 때 염색의 실용화를 위한 시도는 바람직한 작업이었다고 생각한다. 세째, 수공예에 의한 염색 실용품의 양산화를 위해서는 재료의 연구, 표현기법과 양식등의 창조적 연구와 개발이 되어야 하겠다. 오늘날의 사회가 산업화되고 있는 이때 기업인들의 올바른 의식으로 적극적인 뒷받침과 함께 디자이너의 자각적인 활동이 이루어질 때 염색에 의한 제품의 실용화는 훨씬 바람직하게 이루어질 것으로 기대 한다.;The function of dyed utilities in the living space has been changed into a new mode of individualization with the rise of the standard of living caused by the economic growth. The purpose of this study is to make use of dyed utilities more effectively and beautifully in the living space. For the pursuit of the best use of dyeing in the living space I referred for the theoretical background to the utility of dyeing in the industrialized moden society, the features of the space, and the utility articles and analyzed the consumers tastes gathered through market researches to consult them in manufacturing the works. An old saying, "what is most national is most universal" explains the importance of originality. In the process of collecting data from literature and drawing geometrical features from traditional designs from which to choose some expression materials and of manufacturing and analyzing utility articles available at home, I have reached conclusions as follows: First, under the present situation where design development is tried out, it is significant in the light of spirit of the time to modernize geometrically our traditional elements of beauty and make use of them in dyed works. Second, from the point of view that the true function of handiwork lies in the balance of artistry and utility, it is worth while to seek to utilize dyed articles. Third, in order to massproduce dyed utilities by handiwork, studies about materials, skills of expression, and design for them must be done. With the modern society getting more and more industrialized, the utilization of dyed articles will be accomplished more desirably if enterprisers support it positively and designers work with creative efforts.
