우연성에 의한 선의 조형 연구

Abstract

어느 시대에 있어서나 어떤 양상으로든 미술이란 계속적으로 변화하고 발전되어왔다. 또한 학자들이나 미술평가론가들의 심미안적(審美眼的) 관찰로 인한 평(評)과 전문적 글들이 시대미술의 안내자로서 방향제시를 하였다는 사실은 중요하다. 왜냐하면 미술의 그 본연의 세계, 즉 미술의 독립된 순수창조성을 주장하기 어려운 면이 있을 뿐 아니라 창조적 미술에는 과학 및 기술의 발달까지도 전제가 되고 있기 때문이다. 바로 이러한 것들이 현대미술의 다면다각적 성격의 요인이 되고 있는 것이다. 즉 19세기 부터의 미술양식은 수시로 변화하였고 누구도 예기치 못한 방향과 성격으로 전환되고 있었다. 이러한 시대에 미술양식상의 큰 변화로써 19세기 말에 나타난 아르누보사조에 있어 주류를 이루었던 유기적 곡선들의 추상적이고 조형적인 표현을 고찰함과 더불어 선의 순수한 조형적인 요소의 꾸밈과 맞춤에서 자율적인 추상세계를 추구하면서 염색을 통하여 여러가지 표현을 연구하였다. 선에 있어 우연적 효과를 낼 수 있는 마블링염과 선의 조형성을 강조 할 수 있는 납방염을 통해 인간에게 내재되어있는 무의식적인 정신세계와 의식적인 내면세계를 동시에 표현함을 연구목적으로 두었다. 전통적인 수공예 기법에서 현대에는 조형예술의 세계와 연결지어 지고 있는 염색공예도 하나의 예술분야의 쟝르로 인정받게 되었고 보다 창의적이고 효과적인 표현을 하기 위하여 감정이 이입되어 수시로 변화하는 선들과 색채에 대하여 연구하고 때에 따라 나타나는 무한한 공간으로 분출하려는 유기적인 추상적 선들과 그 선의 분할로 만들어지는 면들사이의 공간성을 추구하였다. 선의 조형성과 형태에 관해 연구하면서 작품에 의도된 선과 면들 사이의 공간감을 빛으로 연결지어 여백의 효과를 공간성있는 빛의 흐름으로 표현하였으며 색채의 변화에 따른 공간성도 함께 연구하였다. 이와같은 의도에서 작품을 제작하여 분석한 결과 여러가지 심리적 상태에 따라서 변할 수 있는 선들의 구성과 색채의 변화를 알 수 있었고 이러한 선과 색채의 변화에 따라 나타날 수 있는 확산되는 여백의 효과를 높일 수 있었다. 호료와 납을 사용함으로써 각각의 재료가 갖는 특성에 의한 기법적인 측면에서 마블링은 무한히 우연적 곡선을 나타낼 수 있었고 납방염을 통해서는 의도적으로 밀도있는 유동적인 곡선을 나타낼 수 있었다. 이는 서로가 잘 조화를 이루어 화면구성의 조형성을 높히는데 효과적이었으며 연구자의 독창성을 표현할 수 있었다. 호료인 C.M.C.와 납방염을 통하여 염색공예로서 기법적인 측면을 여러각도로 연구하여 기법적인 측면에 그치는 것이 아니고 효과적인 표현으로 좀 더 획기적이며 창조적인 작품세계를 보여주도록 노력할 것이다.;In any area and any aspects, the art has been varied and developed on and on. And it is noteworthy that scholars and art a critic have taken a role of 'a guider' who suggests the direction of the fine arts of the through their comments and professional writings based on their aesthetical observation. For the fine arts in themselves have not only their true character - the aspect difficult to assert their independent, pure creativity - but also, in creative fine arts, premise even the development of science and technology. These things become the factors to characterize modern fine arts to be multi-sided and vasatile. In other words, styles of modern arts have been changing at any time and converting into am unexpected direction or character from the beginning of the 19th century. Therefore, concering such changes of fine arts, this study intended to observe some abstract, formative expressions of organiccurves which formed the main current in Art Nouveau, a great change in the style of fine arts appeared in the end of the 19th century and to study into many expressions through dyeing, while pursuing the autonomous world in the decoration and make-up of the pure, formative elements of lines. Also, through this study it was intended to express both the unconcious spiritual world and concious internal world immanent to human at the same time through the marbling dyeing by which the accidental effect of lines can be produced and the parapin-resist by which the formativeness of lines can be emphasized. Dyeing which connects traditional handicraft to the modern formative world has been also recognized as a genre in the field of art. In fact, for dyeing technique in order to express more effectively and originally, lines and colors in which feelings are brought in, thereby changing themselves at any time have been researched into, and the organic abstract lines which are likely to burst into the limitless space and the space between the planets made by the partition of lines have been pursued. As it was studied the formativeness and lives, the space which was in the middle of the lines and surface which was intended on work was connected by light, the effectiveness of blank was expressed by the flow of lights with feeling of space ,and the it was studied together the space which according to colors change. Hence, for the present study, some works were produced and analysed, and in the result, it was understood that according to various psychological states, the composition of lines and change of colors happen: and it was heightened that the effectiveness of diffused space which can be made according to and colors change through marbling using some glue and lead, limitlessly accidental curves can be represented in the technical aspect by the characteristics each material has: and through parapin-resist, intentionally densitive, fluid curves can be represented, such work in harmony has been so effective in heighening formativeness in the composition of a canvas, thereby enabling to express this researcher's inner world originally. In the future, it is desirous to multilaterally study into the technical aspect of dyeing technology throgh glue dyeing and parapin-resist, thereby not stopping on the view of ski11 but presenting the more epochal, creative world of works with effective expression.
