중학교 교과서에 나타난 전통음악

Abstract

The object of this thesis consists in observing actual condition of traditional music in music textbook of our junior high school. Therefore the substaces are as follows. First, this observes the application of traditional music on the school curriculum from the beginning of common Music Education to the fourth curriculum. Second, this concretely observes the importance of our traditional music according to book, domain though analyzing the fifth-class textbooks-kum song textbook, Hyon Dae Music publishing co, The study of surrent English co, Se-Kwang Music publishing co, chi-hak sa-that now use on the fifth curriculum. Consequently, the materials and the substances of non-traditional music are importantly treated more than dur traditional music in many ways. It is very important to choose the sequences of the materials in Music Education. It is like what language first learn. Everyone recongnizes that he must learn his language first. Therefore we must importantly treat the traditional Music above all. Recently the education of traditional Music is becoming important more and more, nevertheless our textbooks stin treat the materials of non-traditional music as the important things more than traditional music. Therefore we must treat the materials of traditional music from many angles.;본 논문은 우리나라 중학교 음악교과서에 전통음악이 어느정도의 비중으로 나타나고 있는지를 분석하여 그 실태를 살펴 보고자 하는데 목적을 두고 있다. 따라서 본 논문은 다음과 같은 내용으로 연구되었다. 첫째, 우리나라에서 보통음악교육이 시작된 이래로 4차 교육과정까지의 전통음악이 교과과정에 어느 정도의 중요성을 갖고 활용되어 왔는지를 살펴보았다. 둘째, 현재 제5차 교육과정에서 사용되고 있는 금성교과서, 현대음악출판사, 시사영어사, 세광음악출판사, 지학사의 다섯 종류의 교과서 분석을 통해 우리의 전통음악이 어느 정도의 비중을 영역별로 차지하고 있는지를 구체적으로 고찰해 보았다. 이상의 내용을 고찰해 본 결과, 여러 영역에서 우리의 전통음악 보다 비국악적인 소재와 내용이 높은 비중으로 취급되고 있음을 알 수 있었다. 음악교육에 있어서 소재의 선택순서는 매우 중요하다고 할 수 있다. 그것은 어느 언어를 먼저 배울 것인가 하는 선택과 같다. 누구나 자기나라의 언어를 우선해서 배워야 한다는 당위성을 부정하지는 않는다. 그런 의미에서 우리나라의 전통음악이 보다 높은 비중으로 다루어져야 한다. 최근들어 국악교육에 대한 인식이 점차 중요시되고 있음에 비추어 국악과 비국악에 대한 영역별 실태를 분석한, 본 연구의 결과 나타나고 있는 낮은 비중의 국악적 소재를 앞으로 다양한 관점에서 높여야 한다는 것이 본 연구의 결론이다.
