체형에 따른 수영복 디자인 연구

Abstract

본 연구에서는 변해가는 사회구조속에서 레져·스포츠(leisure·sports)가 생활의 중요한 파트로 굳혀감에 따라 여성들의 레져·스포츠웨어로 비중이 커져가고 있는 수영복에 관한 디자인 연구를 하였다. 본 연구를 위해서는, 우선 이론적 배경으로 수영복의 출현과 변천과정을 역사적으로 고찰하였으며, 또한 체형에 적합한 수영복 디자인을 하기 위해 線과 色에 따라 달라보이는 기본 디자인을 연구하였다. 18세기 중엽에 이르러 일반의복과 구분되어 나타나게 된 수영복은 여러 변천과정을 거치면서 점점 축소되어, 오늘날에 와서는 체형이 가장 잘 드러나는 옷이 되었다. 수영복은 헤엄치기 위한 기초의상 뿐 아니라 여름의 리조트·웨어( resort·wear )로서도 사용되게 됨으로서 다양한 소재와 디자인으로 자신의 체형에 적합한 것을 선택하여 에로틱한 분위기로 몸매를 자연스럽게 나타내고자 하는 의도가 많아지고 있다. 따라서 패션성 있는 새로운 수영복 디자인의 연구가 꼭 필요한 시기라고 생각된다. 이러한 측면에서 설문지를 통한 수영복에 관한 우리나라 여성의 의식조사에 따르면, 체형에 자신이 없는 사람이 많으며 이에 적합한 디자인을 상당수가 원하고 있음을 알 수 있다. 그러나 우리나라 수영복 제품들은 그 현황분석에 따르면 이를 충족시키지 못하고 있음이 나타났다. 이러한 연구 검토를 거쳐 본 논문에서는 연구자의 개성에 따라 기하학적 무늬와 화려한 색상들을 주로하여 체형의 결점을 보완하여 줄 수 있는 디자인들을 제시하였는데, 종래의 보수적이고 획일적인 스타일에서 벗어나 패션어블(fashionable)하고 에로틱(erotic)하면서 수영복의 사용목적에 맞게 디자인을 표현하려 하였다. 본 연구에서의 수영복 디자인은 모두 원피스형 수영복 10점 으로 도식화와 함께 실물작품과 일러스트레이션(illustration)의 사진으로 제시하였다.;This study handles designing of swimsuit which is gradually getting a relative importance to ladies as a sportswear, as Leisure sports are occupying an important part in an everchanging social structure. The swimsuit which has possibility of development not only as resortwear in summer but also as a basic dress for swimming these days is demanded a design well matching to individual body shape due to strong fashionable feature. For this study, the origin of swimsuit and the process of its transition have been inquired historically and found out the characteristics. Swimsuit has developed for swimming as means of living at the beginning, and then for leisure and bath, and in 18th century, it has been classified from casualwear. The swimsuit in those days was not much different from casualwear, giving the importance to its elegance rather than its purpose of using therefore , was quite inconvenient . As the society progresses, the value of swimsuit in social background and aesthetic consciousness with the improvement of women's position has changed and the design has come to a form to hide the body to the minimum, gradually reducing the part to cover. The swimsuit which exposes woman's body shape most well are intended to show body' most naturally in an erotic mood, selecting the design with various materials suiting to individual body shape. In this respect, a study has been made to investigate the knowledge on swimsuit through questionnaire and analysed. As a result, there were several points that most Korean women were not aware of the design as a common sense, and wanted a design well matching to them. Also they were quite interested in fashionable swimsuit with decorations. However, according to analysis, local products were not only versatile in design but also didn't consider the body shape so much, and there were still many points that are contrary to consumer's desire. Therefore, this study has attempted to design a basic pattern of swimsuit Looking differently by color and by line, using optical illusion. Through above research, this thesis has presented designs that can complement the weak points of body shape using geometrical designs and bright colours as per the researcher's individuality of this study, and tried to express a design suiting to purpose of use, while fashionable and erotic, but breaking the conservative and standardized style. The swimsuit designs in this study are 10 pieces of onepiece type, presented actual works and pictures of illustration with diagrams.
