한국교회 상담목회에 관한 연구

Abstract

목회상담에 대한 증가된 관심은 급변하는 사회와 결핍되고 소외된 개인 내적인 욕구들을 반영하고 있다. 교회는 이러한 사회와 개인들에게 적절하게 반응하여야 할 것이며, 교회의 적절한 반응들 중의 하나로 고려할 수 있는 것은 목회방식의 변화이다. 상담사역은 예수 그리스도로부터 위임된 교회의 사역이며, 또한 목회상담을 활용한 목회방식의 효과적인 대안은 상담목회이다. 본 논문은 한국교회 상담목회에 관한 연구로서 현재 한국교회에서 실행되고 있는 상담목회 현황을 조사하여 그 유형을 분류함을 목적으로 하였다. 이는 이러한 한국교회 상담목회 현황에 대한 연구를 바탕으로 미래 상담목회를 실천해 갈 수 있는 구체적인 이론과 모형 개발이 가능할 것이고, 또 동시에 상담목회를 계획하고 있는 교회들에게는 적절한 모델을 제공하는 구체적인 대안이 될 수 있을 것이기 때문이다. 따라서 본 논문에서는 먼저 문헌연구를 통해 상담목회의 의미와 필요성에 대하여 살펴보았다. 그리고 한국교회의 상담목회 현황을 해당 교회를 방문, 조사하여서 세 가지 형태로 분류하여 각 목회를 실천하고 있는 교회의 운영현황을 제시했다. 또한 특별히 여기에서 상담서비스목회는 그 운영 특성에 따라 다시 다섯 개의 유형으로 분류하여 교회 상담실유형을 제시였으며, 마지막으로 한국교회의 상담목회를 위한 실천적 제안을 하였다.;This thesis is a research about the present situation of Korean pastoral care and counseling. Pastoral care and counseling is a branch of church activities in which pastoral counseling is practiced in diverse forms. It signifies pastoral care in the dimension of counseling, that embraces all of the functional aspect and the aspect of pastoral counseling standpoint. The pastoral care structure of Korean churches mainly focuses on preaching, but this greatly restricts solving the anxieties and mental conflicts of modern people. Churches need to respond appropriately to such individuals, and the consequent demand is a new form of pastoral care. In other words, there is a necessity to aim towards pastoral care, where pastoral counseling has equal relative importance to the existing pastoral care that focuses on preaching, missionary work and education. Counseling is a service of the church, and pastoral care and counseling is an alternative on the demands of changing the direction of pastoral care. Accordingly, as a thesis on the research of pastoral care and counseling of Korean churches to actualize pastoral care and counseling in the future, the present state of pastoral care and counseling in Korean churches were researched with the aim to divide the forms of the present state of pastoral care and counseling. With that, the present state of pastoral care and counseling practiced in present Korean churches was researched, and it was divided into three forms- 'educational pastoral care', 'counseling service pastoral care' and 'inner healing pastoral care'. And in particular, according to the management characteristics of 'counseling service pastoral care', it was subdivided into five forms- pastor counseling, lay counseling, lay volunteer counseling, mixed counseling and education and the others form. Based on the research on the present state of pastoral care and counseling, it will be possible to provide concrete theories and models that can actualize pastoral care and counseling in the future. And, at the same time, the purpose of this thesis was to provide a concrete alternative, by providing a pastoral care and counseling model that can be applied in churches that plan on pastoral care and counseling by recognizing the necessity of it. Lastly, practical proposals for pastoral care and counseling of Korean churches were made. The following were proposed- counseling that leads outside the church have to return as the original function of the church, churches have to attempt pastoral care and counseling in any forms by considering the situation of the church, there is a necessity of paid specialized counselors and specialized counseling pastors to assume full responsibility of pastoral care and counseling, counseling education and the role of the church for pastoral care and counseling, 'public counseling office', and the necessity of special institutions that can help the execution of pastoral care and counseling. Pastoral care and counseling is no longer a special field of pastoral care. It is general pastoral care that is by all means needed in churches in the community. Accordingly, the present state of pastoral care and counseling in churches needs to be investigated continuously, support needs to be received from special institute, and the appropriate procedures and skills in this field need to be presented.
