토르소의 造形成에 關한 考察

Abstract

토르소는 몸체 以外의 部分을 想像의 世界로 남기고 造形하므로써 새로운 균형을 이룬다. 또한 모든 動勢를 胴禮에 관입시킴으로서 함축적 이미지와 造形的 價値를 지니고 있다. 그러므로 造形性 考察을 通하여 그 時代의 흐름에 따라 變形되는 토르소의 表現 形式과 形態의 변예를 分析 把握하므로써 그 價値를 發見해 볼 必要가 있다고 본다. 本 硏究의 目的은 토르소의 一般的 槪念과 構造를 理解하므로써 歷史的 考察을 通하여 19世紀에 조각의 領域이 넓혀진 事實을 發見하고 또 時代의 흐름에 따라 變形되는 形態와 表現 形式에 있어서 토르소의 價値를 分析 糾明하는데 그 目的이 있다. 本 硏究의 內容은 一般的 意味로서 토르소의 實體를 알아보고, 時代別로 作品을 考察하므로써 토르소의 造形的 價値와 表現 形態의 發麗에 따라 새로운 表現과 形態의 出現을 낳게한 可能性을 努握하는데 있다. 本 硏究의 方法은 토르소의 實體와 導入, 理論的 背景은 文獻을 通하여 基本道具로 하여 理論은 要約해서 論述하는 記述的 方法을 使用했다. 또한 資料 處理는 時代別로 代表할 만한 作家를 임의로 선정해서 그들의 作品을 유의표집 分析키로 했다. 本 硏究의 結果 自然的 損傷이나 敵의 侵入에 依한 결손의 遺品인 古代 그리이스 토르소는 그 時代의 思潮로서 造形的 價値를 지니고 있으며 近代로댕에 依하여 意圖的런 토르소의 제작과 더불어 고유 認識의 탄생은 토르소의 形式이나 形態에 또다른 價値와 意味를 던져 준다. 入體의 결절된 부분의 상징은 無限한 可能性의 새로운 表現과 새로운 形態를 남게 하는 重要한 價値를 가지고 있음을 發見하게 된다.;TORSO keeps a new balance by forming image from inside to outside with only the trunk of a human body, leaving the other parts to world of imagination. And also by implicating all the movements into the trunk, it bears an implicit image and a formative value. Therefore I dare say, through the historical examination, it's worthwhile to seek and find the value of TORSO by analyzing and studying the styles of its expression and changes of its form which have been undergoing changes as times go by. The purpose of this study is to certify the fact, through understanding the general concept and structure of TORSO, that one sphere of sculpture was added in 19th century, and to analyze and probe the value of TORSO whose form and style of expression have been undergoing changes. The content of this study consists of grasping the nature of TORSO as a general meaning, and recognizing the formative value of TORSO and the Possibility which could bring the new expression and the new from as the style of expression developed, through examination on works which represent each period. As the method of this study, a theory on the nature of TORSO was roughly developed with literature as the basic instrument and the descriptive method of enunciating in summary was used for theory. And those representative sculptors of each period were selected at option, and their works collected attentively. Results of study 1. The ancient Greek TORSO, which are left with damages caused by the natural erosion and or invasion of enemy hold the formative value as a current thought of the times, 2. The real recognition of TORSO, which came to be born from a TORSO sculptured intentionally by Rodin, gives another value and meaning to the styles and forms of TORSO. We can find that a symbol caused by the cut-off parts of human body reserves the important value which brings infinite possibilities of new expressions and new forms.
