인간 내면의 표정에 관한 사진 탐구

Abstract

Brassai said, "Both the fantasy world and the symbol world are in real world, so an artistic photographer is people who find them out". The subject of this research is to describe the inner life of human being, and in the way to present it, the inner life of human being will be described by finding the symbol world from the expression of the man. "To be the truthful and real concept, the symbol should understand the inner life of the thing to present, and include the essence of it. Therefore, the real symbol plays an role like a tonic to describe the inner world and provide the energy although it doesn't change the direction of the source of being" I am about to find my artistic world out through the symbolic metaphor. Since this work is the presentation of the subject by media that is the photograph, I do my best to give life to such special character. An artistic photographer presents the reality of the moment by pushing the shutter at the time when both his/her consciousness or unconsciousness and the real world react each other, and the photograph interpret the world though it just catch the real world in the raw. Such a character becomes the core to describe the subject. I searched the inner life by portrait, and I tried to comprehend the feeling of the abstract inner life, focusing on the expression to present in a face. I try to stress the subject through the background with black color to add the simplicity and quiet feeling. Employing the light and the artificial space maximize such an effect. Also, I try to closely approach the essence of human being through the objective description to present the inner life of human being by unconsciousness. Finally, this research is the explanation of human being by myself. Also, this research is one of the processes to interact with human being. My subject is to gradually express the creative world in such processes.;"현실 속에는 환상의 세계도 상징의 세계도 들어 있다. 사진가는 이를 발견 해 내는 사람이다." 라고 브랏사이는 말했다. 본 연구의 주제는 인간의 내면세계를 그려내고자 하는 것이다. 그리고 표현하는 방법에 있어 현실 속 인물의 표정에서 상징의 세계를 찾아 그 내면 세계를 그려내고자 한다. "진실하고 생생한 개념이 되기 위해, 상징은 지시하고자 하는 것의 내면 의식을 파악해 그 본질을 담고 있어야 한다. 그렇기 때문에 참된 상징은 존재의 모든 근원을 돌려놓지는 않으나 그 내면 세계를 묘사해 주고 생기를 불어 넣는 활력소 같은 역할을 한다." 상징적 은유 속에서 본인의 미학적 세계를 찾고자 함이다. 또한 사진이라는 매체를 통한 주제의 표현이므로 그 특성을 잘 살려내고자 하였다. 사진가는 자신의 의식 흑은 무의식이 현실과 반응한 바로 그 순간 셔터를 누름으로서 순간의 현실을 보여준다. 그리고 사진은 현실을 있는 그대로 포착 함에도 불구하고 세계를 해석한다. 이런 특성이 주제를 표현하는데 핵심이 되었다. 본인은 '포트레이트(portrait)'를 통해 내면세계를 찾아갔고, 얼굴에 나타는 표정을 중심으로 추상적인 내면의 느낌을 담아내고자 하였다. 스류디오에서 단순함과 정적인 느낌을 더하기 위해 검은색을 배경으로 하여 주제를 강조하고자 하였다. 인위적 공간처리와 빛의 사용으로 효과를 극대화 하였다. 또한 사실적 표현으로 무의식에 의한 인간 내면을 표출해 내어 인간 본질에 보다 더 접근 하고자 하였다. 즉 본 연구는 본인의 인간에 대한 해석이며, 그들과 소통의 한 과정이었다. 그 과정 속에서 독창적 세계를 표출해 가는 것이 본인의 과제다.
