Abstract
The number of sex problems and the seriousness of sexually deviant behavior of youth continues to increase today. The primary factors causing this increase can be identified as individual and social. In relation to the primary individual factors, youths are being exposed to the distorted sex culture in a defenseless state, before their sense of values concerning sex is formed due to their accelerated sexual development. Consequently, the confused and distorted sexual attitudes of youth cause deviant sexual behair. But above all, the social factors involve the structural flaws in society. That is there are dual norms for sex, decadent pleasure industries, overemphasis on and misinformation about sex in the mass media, an educational system centering around the university entrance examination, absence of sex education, and conflict in family relationships, etc. In order to solve these problems, we should enforce effective sex education concerning the biblical view of sex to encourage the internationalization of correct values by promoting Christian sex education, which differs from the existing sex education in schools which emphasizes negative attitudes and biological facts about sex, and instead emphasize the formation of a positive sexual consciousness and sexual attitudes which produce correct behavior. The bible should be the basis for Christian sex education. Traditionally, sex has been distorted on account of misconceptions about it, even in Christianity However, both the Old and New Testaments give a balanced view of sex in that both the negative and affirmative sides of sex are deate □□ Hence, we have a responsibility to restore this healthy view by setting forth the Bible newly teaching relevantly and correctly. It should be painted out that sex is a gift of God and that sexual relation □□ps are total commitment of a man and woman which combine love and pleasure at the same time. The youth should learn to ◁원문불량▷ appreciate the dignity of sex, And that the misuse or abuse of sex is clearly violates God's creation intention and mandate. Therefor, in order to implement biblical Christian sex ethics to the rea□ Christian education we should recommend ways to a reform the Christian sex education curriculum after first examining the both contents and the management aspects of sex education. In addition, to improve the present situation of sex eduaction ideas for improving the direction of Christian sex education should be obtained from participants. From the contents viewpoint of sex education of Christian education curriculum, study of a documentary records and text book survey are as follows : 1. The guidance in sex education should be explained more scientifically and systematically in a way which is suitable for development stage. 2. The contents of sex education should include more teaching on the biblical meaning of sex, ane the proper attitudes toward sex and the psychological approach to sex should be emphasized. 3. Sexual behaviors which have become issues in Korea should be dealt with such as the need for a relationship of harmony and cooperation between a man and woman, sex role, the divorce problem, homosexuality, and abortion, etc. by using cases, so as to restorate the original creation order. 4. The inclusion of materials for the study and teaching of Christian sex education is necessary to assist the school chaplains who teach the subject of sex education. In addition, a guide book for teachers which presence program of concrete Christian sex education should be developed. 5. Substantial counseling information for Christian education to correct the distorted sex consciousness and attitudes promoted by the mass media or by the youth's peer groups is necessary. From the management viewpoint of the result examined in Christian education curriculm, study of a documentary records and questionaire survey are as follows: 1. Christian sex education should concentrate on the attitude formation of values by making Christian sex ethics and view of marriage its main contents. 2. Christian sex education should be presented in one course systematically, and special lectures by specialists should related to the current topic bing studied. 3. As the time to begin teaching Christian sex education, it is proper in the third and fourth grades of primary school. 4. The studies and training of teaching staffs responsible for Christian sex education should be provided through annual seminars and training in sex education by the Christian school federation. 5. Slids films, and video tapes, etc., are more effective than printed matter as the materials for effective Christian sex education. 6. As to the number of hours required for Christian sex education, one hour per week is sufficient. As Christian sex education is a still unexplored field in Korea, there may be difficulty in implementing it. But actually, it is a fact that christian : schools should not continue to look on helplessly. Rather, they must assume responsibility in the following ways. First, by correcting the present distorted sex culture, and recognizing and meaning of sex as given by God, and practicing this truth. Second, the home which should demonstrate healthy and correct sexuality community should stand firmly on the truth, and Christians will have to live life so that the Bible and life are not separated. Third for mature human relationships and sexuality and to practice responsible sexual behavior, youth must learn not to use the sexual partner by making him or her into a thing, an object to exploit, that is, as Martin Buber stated, the restoration of the I-thou relationship, not the I-it relationship is necessary. Fourth to implement the right Christian sex education for young people who are in entering adulthood, not only we will have to prevent the sexual wrong doing but we will also have to prevent incompatibility phenomenon which is caused by sex problems in the relationship between husband and wife. Fifth, Christian youth leaders including school chaplains will have to participate in the missionary work of God by making the Christian sex education missionary task. In addition, not only will they have to cure the secondary effects and wounds which are caused by degenerate sexual behavior bur they also will have to try to prevent the original causes. Lastly Christian leaders, pedagogists, Christian sex counselors, psychologists, and theologians will have to cooperate to develop a positive program of Christian sex education. For the broader impact of this study, beyond the limited application to teenagers, programs of Christian sex for all age groups and types also urgently need to be developed in Korea to correct the deviant sexual behair of adults. Besides, since many sexual problems are caused by the narrow-minded traditional woman's viewpoint, the development of Christian sex education based on biblical female viewpoint is necessary. And for a professional view of the various types of sexual bahavior, an approach which is closely connected to other areas such as religious psychology and sexuality psychology laity, it is necessary to combine the sex ethics approach and the scientific and medical approaches.;현대사회의 성개방 풍조와 성상품화 현상으로 인한 성일탈 행위가 우리 한국 사회에서도 도처에서 일어나고 있다. 이러한 현실에서 왜곡된 성의식 및 태도는 인간의 성과 동물의 성을 구별없이 만들어 가고 있다. 또한 성과학의 발달로 출산과 분리된 성은 생의 쾌락적 요소를 부각시켜 성남용과 성오용을 부추기고 있어서 아울러 성은 개인의 욕구 충족 수단의 하나인 소비 품목으로 전락하는 현상을 야기시키고 있다. 이러한 현상은 성인만의 문제가 아니라 인생의 정체성과 성정체성을 확립할 시기에 있는 청소년들을 더욱 혼란시키고 있다. 이로 인하여 청소년의 성 비행이 날로 증가하고 있어서 청소년 성교육의 필요성이 더욱 요청되고 있다. 그 동안 가정, 사회, 학교 현장에서는 성에 대한 언급을 회피해 왔고 성교육에 대한 구체적인 지도가 부족하였다. 이러한 이유로 청소년들은 왜곡된 성정보로 가득찬 대중매체에 무방비 하게 노출되었다. 학교 현장에서의 성교육은 성의 가치적 측면은 도외시한 채 소극적으로 생물, 가정, 체육 등의 관련 교과를 통해 생식 구조에 대한 과학적인 수준의 성 지식으로 대신하여 왔다. 그리하여 학생들이 실제로 필요로 하는 성가치에의 욕구를 충족시키지 못하고 있다. 현재 우리 사회는 전통적인 윤리 규범이 무너지고 새로운 성가치관이 정립되지 못한 시점에 있으므로 성가치와 성윤리 측면의 성교육이 더욱 요청되고 있다. 이러한 상황에서 본 연구에서는 효과적인 성교육의 대안을 기독교 성교육에서 찾게 되었다. 왜냐하면 성은 하나님의 창조에서 기원하는 영적 의미와 인간의 삶을 분리시킬 수 없기 때문이다. 그리하여 본 연구에서는 우선 한국 청소년의 성문제의 유형을 살펴 성문제를 야기시키는 개인적 심리적 현상 요인과 사회적 현상 요인을 분석하고, 그 것에 근거한 실질적이고 효과적인 기독교 성교육을 모색하였다. 이것을 위하여 먼저 기독교 성교육의 근거가 되는 기독교에서의 성이해를 고찰하여 신구약 성서에 나타난 성에 대해 살펴보고 왜곡된 성에 대해 올바른 성 회복을 위한 지침을 연구하였다. 또한 교회사에 나타난 성을 살펴 전통적으로 잘못 인식된 성을 새롭게 재해석하였다. 기독교 성교육의 방법적 접근을 위해서는 기독교 교육 현장인 기독교 학교에서의 성교육 현황을 종교 교과 내용 및 운영 실태를 중심으로 조사하고 기독교 교육 담당자 입장에서 기독교 성교육의 요구도 고려하여 기독교 성교육의 실천 방안에 도움을 주고자 했다. 기독교 학교 성교육의 실천 방안으로서 우선 일반 성교육과 구별되는 기독교 성교육의 의미를 규명하고 기독교 성교육의 필요성과 과제를 제시했다. 이에 근거하여 기독교 성교육의 가치적 측면을 강조한 기독교 성교육의 실천 모형을 개발하고자 하였다. 결론에서는 본 연구를 요약하고 기독교 성교육의 효과적 실천을 위한 설문 조사에 나타난 결과들을 반영하여 더욱 바람직한 성교육 연구의 필요성과 기독교 교육 현장에서의 적극적인 기독교 성교육을 선교 교육의 과제로서 실천할 것을 제안하였다.
