Edunet의 활성화를 위한 방안 연구

Abstract

The EDUNET was opened in Sep 11, 1996. The EDUNET is a national network developed solely for educational information service. The idea behind it is to build an open education system that works for anyone any time and anywhere. EDUNET will provide significant benefits to most people as far as education is concerned. For students, it means a self-directed, indivisualized learning, enhancement of information literacy, development of communication skills, and enhancement of learning motivation. It allows teachers to provide free access to a variety of instructional multimedia materials. Parents will have easy access to childcare information, on-line counseling, and others. But, EDUNET is the beginning step, and there are many problems, so it is used in education hardly. Therefore, the purpose of this research is to report the issues of and challenges to a learning approach through EDUNET. In order to carry this research, foreign and domestic information systems was analyzed. Then the categories of EDUNET was analyzed. After that, the model school of EDUNET and Requirements of the user was analyzed. As the result of this research, many problems was founded and was proposed the method for improvement of EDUNET in order to use effectively.;96년 9월 11일 교육정보 종합서비스가 개통되었다. 이는 그동안 민간 단체에서 운영하던 교육정보화 사업을 국가가 주도적으로 이끌어나가며 이를 기반으로 각 부분의 교육정보화를 앞당기기 위한 것으로 이를 에듀넷이라 한다. 에듀넷은 분산되어 있는 교육정보 관련 정보를 연계하고, 이를 학생, 교사, 학부모 등 모든 교육 수요자가 활용할 수 있도록 제공되는 교육정보 종합 서비스 시스템이다. 에듀넷은 기존의 PC통신이 문자서비스 위주로 제공되고 있는 단점을 극복하고자 문자서비스 및 웹서비스로 나누어 서비스하는 등 의욕적인 시작을 하였다. 그러나 초기인 만큼 여러 가지 문제점으로 인하여 활성화 되지 못하고 있다. 따라서 본 연구는 이러한 에듀넷을 활성화 시키기 위한 방안을 마련하기 위해 진행되었다. 이를 위해 에듀넷 시범학교 운영 사래 분석 및 에듀넷을 적극적으로 이용하는 사용자들의 요구 사항을 바탕으로하여 여러가지의 문제점을 제기하고, 그에 대한 개선 방안을 제시하였다. 본 연구를 통하여 문제점으로 지적된 것은 자료가 부족하고, 다운받은 자료가 실행이 안되는 경우가 많은 점, 통신 장애가 자주 발생한다는 점, 속도가 느리고, 자료가 정리되어 있지 않다는 점, 시범학교 운영기간이 짧고, 통신환경이 미비하다는 점 등이다. 또한 담당 교사의 사용 능력 부족도 지적되고 있다. 이에 대한 개선방안으로 크게 에듀넷의 시스템 내용과 운영의 두 측면으로 나누어 제시하였다. 내용면으로는 에듀넷 자체의 교육자료실의 자료 보완 및 정비, 대화실의 기능 강화, 교육사이트에서의 에듀넷 접속, 온라인 교사 연수코너 개설 등을 다루었다. 운영면으로는 계획적이고 장기적인 시범학교 운영, 에듀넷 접속회선의 증설, 효과적인 수업모델의 개발 등에 대해 다루었다.
