長衫이 僧舞의 춤사위에 미치는 Kinematics 영향에 관한 일 연구

Abstract

僧舞는 重要 無形文化財로 指定받을만큼 優秀한 傳統舞踊의 하나이다. 本硏究는 僧舞의 춤사위 중에서 가장 核心的인 사위인 뿌림사위 가운데 "돌아서 뿌림" 사위를 行함에 있어 根本이 되는 팔의 움직임을 力學的으로 分析하고 長衫이 뿌림사위에 미치는 영향에 대해 硏究하여 文化財 保存과 傳授에 科學的인 基礎資料를 提供하는데 그 目的이 있다. 이 硏究의 對象은 舞踊經歷이 15年以上인, 舞踊手로 했으며 타이즈 차림과 장삼 차림으로 춤추게 하여 16㎜ Motion Picture Camera로 高速撮影 하였다. 그리하여 그 필름의 영상분석을 통해 "돌아서 뿌림"時 各사위(準備사위, 本사위, 終結사위)의 所要時間 및 重心移動, 팔 동작의 特徵(身體分節의 軌跡, 主要關節의 軌跡, 角度 및 角速度)을 分析한 結果, 다음과 같은 結論을 얻었다. 1. "돌아서 뿌림" 사위時 各사위의 所要時間은 終結사위 때가 가장 길었고 準備사위, 本사위의 順으로 나타났다. 또한 장삼차림은 타이즈 차림보다 準備사위와 終結사위에서 더 오래 걸렸고, 本 사위때는 이와 반대로 더 짧게 걸렸다. 2. 重心移動은 準備사위때가 가장 낮았고 本사위 때 가장 높게 나타났으며 수직이동幅보다는 수평이동幅이 크게 나타났다. 3. 身體分節의 軌跡에서 오른팔은 원모양을 나타냈고 왼팔은 사선모양을 나타냈으며, 장삼 차림이 타이즈 차림보다 軌跡間의 幅이 넓게 나타났다. 4. 主要關飾의 軌跡에서 前面에서는 오른팔의 경우 삼각형(△)모양으로, 왼팔은 타원형(○)모양을 나타냈으며 위에서 본 오른팔의 경우는 초승달(□) 모양으로, 왼팔은 그 반대(□)모양으로 나타났다. 어깨, 팔꿈치, 손목關飾의 軌跡은 모두 장삼 차림이 타이즈차림보다 넓고 크게 나타났다. 5. 主要關節의 角度에서는 오른팔의 경우 準備사위 本사위때 가장 角度變化가 크게 나타났으며, 왼팔은 本사위때 가장 角度變化가 크게 나타났다. 장삼차림이 타이즈 차림보다 높은 角度變化를 나타냈다. 6. 主要關節의 角速度에서도 오른팔의 경우 準備사위 本사위때 가장 角速度가 빨랐으며 왼팔은 本사위때 가장 빨랐고 왼팔보다는 오른팔의 角速度가 빠르게 나타났다. 장삼 차림이 타이즈 차림보다 角速度 變化의 差가 컸다. 따라서 長衫은 僧舞를 演行하는데 있어 外形的인 依裳으로 獨特하고 傳統的인 가치이외에 춤동작의 dynamic化에도 커다란 영향을 미치고 있음을 알 수 있다.;This study was an attempt to provide a scientific data about a 'Pulimshawee' (a turning-around movement pattern) of the traditional Korean Monk's Dance (called Seung Moo) as desi- gnated as an intangible cultural property. Specifically, the present study aimed at revealing the Kinematic characteristics of a Pulim shawee via cinematographic analyses. An expert Seung Moo dancer with 15 years of experience pictured with and without Buddhist Monk's robe (costume worn by Seung Moo dancers), using 16mm high speed motion picture camera. Kinematic analyses were focued on : 1) the total elaspsed time of a Pulimshawee, 2) the pattern of transfer of the center of gravity of each shawee in the preparatoy, main, and finishing phase, and 3) the characteristics of arm movements (i.e., angular displacement, angular velocity, and trajectory). The analyses revealed the following results : 1. The elapsed length of time was longest in the finishing phase, longer in the preparatorr phase, and shortest in the main phase both with and without Buddhist monk's robe. 2. The center of gravity was highest in the main phase with the lowest appeared in the preparatory phase. while the extent of horizontal displacement was shown to be longer that of vertical displacement. 3. The shape of trajectory was shown to be circular in the right arm, while it was in oblique line in the left arm. The angular displacements be tween trajectories were larger in Buddhist Monk's robe than in tights. 4. In the frontal view, the trajectory of right arm segment was triangular("□") whereas it was oval ("□") in the left arm. In contrast, the trajectories of right and left arm segments in the transverse plane were in the shape of new noon("□") and in the opposite shape of new moon("□") respectively. 5. The biggist angular displacement was evidenced in the main and preparatory phases in the case of the right aim, while it was so in the main phase in the left arm. More angular displacement was shown when with Monk's robe on as compared to no robe. 6. The angular velocity of main body segments was fastest in the preparatory and main phases in the right arm while the fastest angular velocity was shown in the main phase in the case of left arm. The angular velocity was faster in the right arm than in the left arm. The changes in angular velocity was larger in Monk's robe than in tights. These results, taken together, suggest that the Buddhist Monk's robe had tremendous effects on the dynamics of dance movements in addition to the unique and readitional values attached to it as a dance costume.
