타시즘(tachisme)에 의한 무의식 표현 연구

Abstract

Groping for various new expression methods, modern art has been developed as a modern sense system, While sense of value and consciousness have transformed in the radically changing circumstances and complex social structure. With civilization there have been many changes in arts and it's a very important fact that in any time arts have been changed and developed ceaselessly in any aspect. Human beings try to create something new continuously in a given circumstance. Among what they want to create, desire for pursuing beauty has been continued to result in each new art mode reflecting each era's characteristics. Therefore, it is important to find new materials and explore new visual types by using them in modern art. The art mode, which has been changed by the period and social circumstances, expresses wide-ranged of creating activities with the change and development of various materials, types, and techniques with the help of various expression styles and extended choices of materials. In the process of development artists have come to express their subjective worlds through various expression styles originated from their internal mind in order to express essential factors without unnecessary ones. Therefore, the unique claim, individuality and consciousness expression of artists are emphasized, and artistic work can be made when artist's will is expressed worth a subjective modeling language. The purpose of this study is to produce a coloring work based on abstract expressionism which analogizes subjective thinking from unconsciousness. The content of this work is based on the casualism and atypical character of abstract expressionism, and intended to pursue the modeling character as an expression technique while using three kinds of dyeing and Tachisme skills. Based on the above content, this study intends to find a modeling meaning in the casual effect through marbling and to add printing one of the paste resist dyeing skills in order to express a deeper internal world. This study is to grope for possibility of using mixed skills in coloring works by applying marbling, printing, and batik to the work. Finally the study explores the modeling characteristics of dyeing in modern arts, presenting problems by analyzing the works through the above methods.;현대예술은 복잡다양한 사회구조와 급변하는 시대적 상황속에서 가치관과 의식의 변화에 따라 현대적인 감각체계로서 다양하고 새로운 표현 방법을 모색하며 발전해 왔다. 그리고 현대문명의 발달과 더불어 예술 또한 많은 면화를 겪어왔으며, 어느 시대에 있어서나 어떤 양상으로든 예술이 계속적으로 변화하고 발전되어 왔다는 것은 매우 중요한 사실이라 하겠다. 인간은 주어진 상황에서 새로운 것을 끊임없이 창조하려고 한다. 이렇게 창조하려는 것들 중에서 미를 추구하려는 욕구는 세월이 흘러도 계속되고 있고 각 시대마다의 새로운 미술 양식으로 나타나 그 시대의 특징을 반영해 주며 발전하고 있다. 그러므로 현대예술에 있어 새로운 재료의 발견과 그에 따른 새로운 시각형식의 탐구는 중요한 과제라 할 수 있다. 이렇게 시대적 흐름과 사회환경에 따라 변하게 된 미술양식이 현대에 이르러서는 다양한 표현 양식과 재료 선택 영역의 확대로 여러 가지 재료, 형태, 기법 등에 많은 변화와 발전을 가져와 폭 넓은 창작 행위를 보여주고 있으며 이러한 발전 속에서 예술가들은 불필요한 요소들을 생략하고 본질적인 요소를 표현하고자 예술가들의 내면 심리에 의한 다양한 표현방법을 통하여 자신의 주관적인 세계를 표현하는 방법을 추구하게 되었다. 그리하여 작가의 독창적인 주장이나 개성, 의식의 표현을 강조하게 되고, 작가 작품에 대한 표현의지를 인지대상에 의해 주체적인 조형언어로 풀어냈을 때 비로소 예술작품이 되는 것이다. 이에 본 연구에서는 작가 자신의 주관적인 사고 내용을 무의식에 유추하여 추상표현주의 이론을 바탕으로 하는 염색 작품을 제작하려고 한다. 본 연구의 내용은 특히 추상표현주의의 비정형성과 우연성에 근거를 두고 타시즘 (Tachisme)의 기법적인 조형요소와 염색의 세가지 기법을 병행 사용하여 표현기법으로서의 조형성을 추구하고자 한다. 이러한 내용에 근거를 두고 본 연구자의 작품을 살펴보면 작품제작에 나타난 표현 방법으로는 마블링을 통한 우연적인 효과 속에서 그 조형적 의미를 찾고자 하며, 깊이 있는 내면세계의 표현을 위하여 호염의 기법 중 묘염을 첨가하고자 한다. 이렇게 염색기법 중 마블링염과 묘염, 납방염의 기법을 작품제작에 응용, 염색작업에 있어서의 혼합기법 사용의 가능성을 모색하고 이러한 방법을 통하여 얻어진 작품들을 분석해 봄으로써 나타나는 문제점들을 제시하여 현대미술로서의 염색의 조형성을 탐구하도록 하고자 한다.
