조선시대 창살문양을 응용한 직물디자인 개발과 적용에 관한 연구

Abstract

문화란, 곧 인간활동의 결과로서 과거의 문화는 우리가 보전하고 연구 해야할 자료로서 가치가 있었다면 현재와 미래사회에서의 문화는 다가올 시대의 그 사회를 어떠한 가치관에 의해 이끌어 가고 변화시키는 가에 대한 인식으로서의 가치를 갖는다고 할 수 있다. 문화에 대한 개념규정은, 현대 사회에서 지배적인 문화유형들을 형성한 정치, 경제, 기술을 포괄하는 광범한 맥락 안에서 이해되어야 한다. 디자인 또한 이러한 문화에 의해서 형성되고 유지되었으며 그 결과 디자인된 제품들은 문화적인 면에서 기능을 발휘한다는 것이 논자의 견해이다. 그러나 우리의 문화는 근대 역사의 전개과정에서 문화적 단절을 가졌으며 외래 문화의 무조건적인 수입으로 가치관의 혼란을 가져왔다. 현대는 정보화 사회로서 전 세계는 보편적인 가치관 및 세계관을 공유하게 되었으며 급변하는 서구 사조의 흐름은 계속적으로 우리 문화에 침투해 오고 있다. 이러한 때에 우리는 한국적 고유성의 회복을 위해, 전통성을 추구하여 한국적 이미지를 형성하여야 하며, 이론적 서술보다는 실제적인 전략으로 인식하고 적극적인 자세로 문화를 도구화하는 것이 문화에 대한 올바른 접근이라 하겠다. 다각적인 접근을 시도하는 방법으로 현 섬유를 사용한 버티칼 블라인드 제작은 한국적 이미지를 추구하기 위하여 조선시대 창살문양을 응용하여 패턴화 하였으며, 사용시 국제화, 고급화, 세련화의 이미지를 추구하고 있다. 하지만 섬유가 놓여질 공간의 변화나 현대인이 선호하는 색상의 변화, 그리고 해외 디자이너와의 협력체제나 수입원자재의 무분별한 사용 등은 엄청난 인력 수당과 고가의 제작비 그리고 로열티 등으로 고전을 면하지 못하고 있는 실정이다. 본 논문은 한국적 이미지에 의한 직물디자인의 개발과 적용이 전통의 계승이란 문화적인 작업 ,즉 전통이 무엇이냐는 전통논의(傳統論義)만을 따지기보다는 흐름에 대응하고 소비자의 욕구를 만족시켜줄 수 있는 발전적이고 실험적인 버티칼 블라인드를 기획 제작하여 섬유산업의 발전에 기여하고자 하며 또한 섬유의 예술적 문제의 무한한 가능성을 확립할 수 있다는 것과 미래시장에 대한 새로운 대응책마련에 그 의의가 있다고 본다.;Culture is an outcome of human activity and has its value as a recognition on how if leads and changes the future society by certain value just like it is valuable to conserve and study culture of the past. The definition of the concept of culture should be understood based on modern society's politics, economics, and technology which form dominating culture types. Design, also, was shaped and maintained by this culture, and I think all the design products play its function in the cultural aspect. However, our culture suffered cultural discontinuation in the process of modern history, and also brought the conduction of the view of value caused by unconditional import of foreign culture. Informational society in modern times made the whole world share universal value and world view, and the follow of rapid western culture continuously invades our culture. In this time, it is a desirable approach to culture of form Korean image by pursuing our tradition, and to make culture into a tool with a positive attitude, recognizing it as a realistic strategy. Making a vertical blind using the string fabric as a way of making various approaches was patterned adapting chosun dynasty's window bars to it, and it pursues the image of globalization, high quality and refinement. However, it is the fact that the change of space which fabric is to be put, modern man's preferring color, the thoughtless use of imported raw materials, and cooperations system with foreign designers suffer high production cost, manpower cost and loyalty. this studies intended to contribute of fabric industry by productions the developing and experimental vertical blind which satisfies consumers' desire and copes with the current flow of culture, not just by examining what our tradition is. Also, it is meaningful to establish the infinite possibility of the artistic problem of fabric and be ready for a new strategy for the future market.
