한국 기독 청소년문화 형성을 위한 교회교육의 가능성 연구

Abstract

본 논문은 한국 기독 청소년문화 형성을 위한 교회교육의 가능성에 대하여 연구한 것이다. 한 국가의 장래를 알려면 그 나라의 청소년을 보면 알 수 있다는 말처럼 청소년의 건전한 성장은 청소년 자신 뿐 아니라 가정이나 교회, 그리고 사회와 국가 전체의 현재와 미래를 위해 매우 중요한 의미를 지닌다. 그러나 현재 청소년교육은 가정에서 학교에서 사회에서 그리고 교회에서 마저도 어떠한 한계상황에 이른듯한 감을 주고 있고, 많은 청소년들이 교회로 부터 떠나고 있는 실정에 이르고 있다. 바람직한 청소년문화는 순수한 이론과 실제가 조화있게 진행될 때 가능하다고 생각된다. 그러나 최근 현 한국교회 내의 교육에 있어서 학교식 교육체제의 제한성을 보면서 한국 교회교육의 새로운 방향의 가능성을 제시해 주고 있는 신앙공동체 중심의 교육이론은 성서가 보여주는 뚜렷한 크리스챤상을 소개하고, 개인보다는 공동체에 막강한 영향력을 주시하면서 공동의식을 개발하려는데 강조점을 두고 있다. 이러한 요청에 근거해서 청소년문화에 대한 올바른 기본개념을 설정하고 그들의 현황을 파악한 후, 지식전달 위주로 일관된 현대 교회교육의 문제를 극복할 수 있는 가능성을 제시하기 위한 방안으로 John H. Westerhoff Ⅲ의 신앙공동체 교육론을 도입하여, 프로그램화 하였다.;This thesis is a research on possibility of church education for thez cultural formation of Christian youth of Koreans. As there is a words, 'If one will know the future of a nation, one can know to see the nation's youth', so the sound maturity of youth implies a very great meaning to the present and future of not only youth themselves but home, church, sociaty, and the whole nation. In spite of that, nowadays youth education, I think, is giving an invisible limited situation to them in home, school, sociaty, and even in the church. And many youth gradually leave church for another places. There is possibility of the desirable culture of youth, I think, when pure theory and practice are proceeded in harmony. Recently, in Korean chruch education and in the limitation of schooling-instruction paradigm I have seen, the educational theory of faith centered community that will suggest the possibility of the new direction to the Korean church education has emphasis that will present more definite Christian image mentioned in Scripture and will develop community-identity in gazing superiority not to individuality so much as to community. On the basis of this point I established a proper and basic concept of youth culture in this thesis. Having got hold of their situation, as a program to introduce possibility that will get over the issue of contemporary church education that has continually conveyed an oriented information-transmission, I programed an educational theory derived from The Educational Theory of John H. Westerhoff Ⅲ.
