Abstract

This study is about education for spiritual growth. Man is a bady of personality unifed intellectually, emotionally and volitionally, and, at the some time, the only being that worships God, the Creator. And education a sthe holy work I the history of mankind finds its meaning fulness in the completion of the whole personality. The field that has to pay all its endeavour to the education of whole personality which has no other way but to be given up in all the other fields is very religious education. Nowadays, when humanity is destroyed and fallen down because the machine civilization and industrialization makes man materialized and nimalized, a necessity of the education for spiritual growth is absolutly needed. Though many contemporary christians and churches are pursuing a pious life and hoping to live a life of spiritual ability, they feel difficulties in most cases. The meaning of 'Spirit' in the Biblemag easily be confused with religions experiences other religions. For, "spirit" is a word used through various religions, and similiar symbols and concepts are employed though the spirit itself is not the same. Also, it is a phenomenon arised from lack of understanding of "spirit", "spirituality", "spiritual growth," and "spiritual life, in many of todays Christians. For this reason the concept of the spiritual growth that starts from individual, internal growth and ripens into a spiritual being with unified whole personality is explored in this study, to have a clear understanding of the Christian spirit based on the spirit of christ, to define what contents have to be educated, and to suggest some methods which may be helpful to spiritual growth. To live a human life within a right relationshing to God is a hope of all Christian. To complete this wish a firm establishment of the basic concept of the education of spirituality is needed, and, also, there ought to be such spiritual training as may be proceded upon this basis. To live a spiritual life, according to the teachings of Jesus Christ, that can be attained in through a training in piety will be the true holy life in this world.;본 논문은 영적 성장을 위한 교육에 대하여 연구한 것이다. 현대의 인간은 기계화 문명에 의해 인간성을 쓸어버리고 파괴 당하며, 타락되어 가고 있다. 영성을 소유한 인간은 하나님과 이웃에 대하여 옳바른 관계를 맺고 살아야 책임을 갖고 있다. 이러한 의미에서 전인성(全人性로)개발에 초점을 두고 있는 종교교육은 인간성 회복을 위한 영성 교육에 힘써야할 필요성을 지닌다. 현대의 많은 크리스챤들과 교회들이 경건의 삶을 추구하며 영적으로 능력있는 삶을 살기 원하지만 대부분의 경우에 어려움을 갖는다. 그 이유는 영 (Spirit), 영성 (Spirituality), 영적성장 (Spiritual Growth)에 대한 이해 부족에 있으며, 여러 종교에서 말하는 영성이 성경의 영성과 비슷한 표상과 개념들로 사용되기 때문에 크리스챤들이 말하는 성경에서의 영성이 다른 종교에서 말하는 종교적 체험과 흔돈하여 이해하기 쉽기 때문이다. 그러므로 영성의 개인적이며 내면적인 영성화과정에서, 통합적이고 총체적인 영성 존재로 성숙하는 영적 성장에 대하여 정리할 필요가 있다. 이러한 요청에 근거해서 영적 성장에 대한 옳바른 기본개념을 설정하고 그것에 기초한 영성훈련을 통하여 예수 그리스도를 본 받은 삶을 살도록 이끄는 기본과제에 촛점을 두고 본 연구가 진행되었다. 본 논문의 연구과정은 그리스도의 영성에 기초한 기독교영성의 개념을 밝히고 그리스도의 성숙성에 촛점을 둔 교육의 목표와 교육의 내용인 영성의 요소들이 무엇인가를 살펴본 후 교육의 방법으로 모범을 통한 방법, 은사 개발과 참여, 경건의 고전공부등 3가지 방법을 제시 하고저 한다.
