동화책을 통한 소집단 토의가 협력적 문제해결에 미치는 영향

Abstract

본 연구의 목적은 동화책을 통한 소집단 토의 경험이 유아의 협력적 문제 해결에 미치는 영향을 밝히는 것이다. 이를 위하여 다음과 같은 연구문제를 설정하였다. 1. 동화책을 통한 소집단 토의경험이 협력적 문제해결과제의 조사전략에 영향을 주는가? 2. 동화책을 통한 소집단 토의경험이 협력적 문제해결과제의 팀 협력성에 영향을 주는가? 본 연구의 대상은 서울시에 위치한 유치원의 만 5세 유아 64명이다. 실험집단의 유아들을 대상으로 주제가 '협동'인 동화를 들려준 후 토의활동을 하였다. 실험처치후, 실험집단과 통제집단 유아들 사이에 유의한 차이가 있는지를 알아보기 위해, 동성의 쌍으로 팀을 구성하여 Gauvain과 Rogoff(1989)가 고안한 협력적 문제해결과제를 제시하여 협력적 문제해결과제 수행 능력을 평가하였다. 실험집단 유아들은 8명씩(남아 4명, 여아 4명) 4그룹으로 나뉘어 토의활동을 하였으며, 실험처치는 1주일에 2회씩 5주동안 총 10회가 실시되었다. 수집된 자료는 SAS program에 의해 분석되었으며, 이원분산분석(two way ANOVA)을 사용하였다. 본 연구의 결과는 다음과 같다. 1. 동화책을 통한 소집단 토의활동은 협력적 문제해결의 조사전략 즉 시간양, 가게조사전략, 품목위치전략에 영향을 주지 않겠다. 또한 조사전략은 성별에 따라 차이가 없었으며, 조사전략에 미치는 효과는 성별에 따라 다르지 않았다. 2. 동화책을 통한 소집단 토의활동은 협력적 문제해결의 팀 협력성 즉 책임분담과 책임공유에 영향을 주었다. 유아들의 팀 협력성에 있어서 동화책을 통한 소집단 토의활동을 한 실험집단과 하지 않은 통제집단의 유아들간에는 차이가 있었으며, 실험집단의 유아들이 통제집단의 유아들보다 책임분담과 책임공유를 더 많이 하는 것으로 나타났다. 또한 팀 협력성에 있어서 성별에 따라 차이가 없었으며, 팀 협력성에 미치는 효과는 성별에 따라 다르지 않았다.;The purpose of this study is that to examine the effect of small group discussion through fairy tales on children's collaborative problem-solving. Subjects for this study are 64 five-year-old children in the kindergarten. Experimental group children were listened the fairy tale - the Theme is collaboration - and separated small groups the each groups discussed about that fairy tale. Collaborative problem-solving tasks were measured by a model grocery store developed Gauvain & Rogoff(1989). Experimental group children was divided 4 groups and performed discussion activity. The data was analyzed by t-test and percentage with the SAS computer program. The results are summarized as follows. First, small group discussion through fairy tales had no effect on the advanced survey strategy(the amount of time, the extent of scanning of the grocery store, item-location scanning strategy) to solve the collaborative problem - solving. There was no difference on the advanced survey strategy according to sex distinction. Small group discussion had no effect on the advanced survey strategy according to sex distinction. Second, small group discussion through fairy tales had an effect on team collaboration(division of labor, shared responsibility) to solve the collaborative problem - solving. There was difference between the experimental group which had small group discussion through fairy tales and the control group which had not anything, and the children in the experimental group used team collaboration more than the control group did. There was no difference on team collaboration according to sex distinction. Small group discussion had no effect on the team collaboration according to sex distinction.
