판화교육의 실태 및 효과분석에 관한 연구

Abstract

판화는 오랜 역사를 갖고 있으며 다른 미술분야에 비하여 표현에 따른 다양한 재료와 기법을 필요로 하는 분야이다. 판화 교육은 생각이나 감정을 표현하는 방법으로써 단순히 그리기만을 만족하지 못하는 어린이들에게 새기고 깍고 오리고 누르고 문지르고 또 찍어냄에서 오는 흥미를 자유롭게 전개시켜 주고 다른 영역보다 재료와 방법의 다양함에서 오는 특수성으로 인하여 교육적인 면에서 바람직한 인간형성의 성과를 육성시킬 수가 있다. 판화교육의 실태와 현 위치를 살펴봄으로써 좀더 효과적이고 효율적일 수 있는 판화를 통한 미술교육의 방향을 모색하려는 것이 본 연구의 目的이다. 연구방법은 저학년과 고학년의 中間으로 과도기적이고 가장 중요한 시기라고 생각되는 중급학년(3·4학년)으로 제한하고 교과서와 참고문헌의 이론적인 배경 고찰과 현행 미술과 교육과정에서의 판화지도의 영역 및 판화의 내용을 分析하고 서울 경기지역 내의 학교중 생활수준과 환경에 의해 차이가 생기는 3개교의 국민학교를 선정 3·4학년중 무작위 추출된 100명씩에게 설문지를 배부 조사하여 분석 하였다. 조사 결과에 의하면, 1. 판화수업이 이론에만 의존하는 형태에서 벗어나 교육과정에 잘 부합되도록 편집된 교과서를 충분히 활용하여 지도의 방향을 설정해 나아가야 겠다. 2. 수업시간은 題材에 따라 계획성있게 설계되어 융통성있게 운영 되어져야 하겠다. 3. 학교측의 적절한 미술코오너의 운영이나 다양한 자료의 구비, 전시장과 부속시설의 충분한 활용이 요망되었다. 4. 교사의 올바른 판화이론의 정립과 전달이 필연적이며 타영역보다 여러면에 애로사항을 느끼는 판화실기 지도를 위한 적극적인 준비와 지도자세가 필요하다고 본다. 5. 판화재료의 성격과 주변 모든 물건에의 응용 가능성, 도구의 사용에 따른 기술습득과 표현에 대한 자신감을 어린이들에게 갖게 하여야 한다. 6. 다양한 종류나 기법의 판화를 접할 수 있고 제작경험을 풍부하게 갖을 수 있어야 한다. 쉽고 재미있는 활동으로 전개되어지는 판화적 표현에 대한 친근감과 판화의 특성을 이용하여 광범위한 활용태도와 습관을 갖게 된다면 보다 아름답고 풍부한 삶이 되리라 본다. 또한 현대문화의 특징을 잘 나타내어주는 판화가 어린이들로 하여금 현대문화에 친근감을 가지고 긍정적이고 능동적인 행동반응을 하는데 커다란 역할을 하리라고 본다.;Block printing demands various materials and techniques for expressions in teaching a lot more than any other field of art and is widely applicable in the everyday world. There is a risk that the children learn to print simply as a part of a required class, so the teacher's special concern and guidance is required to show its importance. The purpose of this study is to consider the actual state of block printing education and how it is used in our world in order to seek for the direction of better art education through block print giving up the generalized and conventional method of guidance. The methods here applied were the study of documents and questionnaires. The subjects were limited to the middle elementary school students (in 3rd and 4th grades), regarded important as a transition stage from inferior to superior class. The study of Art textbooks and references gave theoretical understanding and made possible the analysis of the sphere and content of block printing education shown in an actual curriculum. The questionnaires were given to 300 students in 3rd and 4th grades selected at random from 3 schools, 100 from each school in Seoul and Gyeonggee area which differed in the circumstances and the standard of living. Data analysis showed that a correct education to help the students realize the special features and the applicable quality of block print was not given. And that the school didn't have sufficient equipment to meet the students' interest in it. Active education is required of the teachers to express the principle of block printing and to tie it to the real world. The education should be carried out in a way that experiencing the characteristics and varity of block print which, beyond its own nature, seems to be the representative of modern culture will inspire the children to react to modern culture in an affirmative and active way.
