- Abstract
Volcanic rocks such as rhyolitic welded tuff, rhyolite and tuff in the Bupyeong area form a topographic circular structure. Granitic rocks are distributed inside and outside area of the circular structure. Volcanic rocks define a high-K rhyolite. Granitic rocks from the Bupyeong, lncheon and Kimpo area, on the basis of modal and normative compositions, belong to granite, monzogranite and . monzodiorite, respectively, Geochemical characteristics including major, trace elements and REE among the Bupyeong, Kimpo and lncheon granitic rocks, indicate non-idential source of granite magma. Based on the hornblende geobarometer and hornblende - plagioclase geothermometer, the emplacement pressure and temperature of the Kimpo granite obtained to be 5.6(±0.5)Kbar and 807℃, corresponding to those of the Jurassic granitic rocks, Homogenization temperature and salinity of solid daughter mineral bearing fluid inclusions(Ⅲ and Ⅳ type) and two phases inclusion (Ⅰ and Ⅱ type) for quartz of the Bupyeong granites are 316℃(20.9wt.% NaCl) and 241℃(8.6wt.% NaCl), respectively. The fluid inclusion data shows a considerable influx of the meteoric water in the late evolution stage of the granitic magma in the Bupyeong area.
