쇠라기법을 이용한 회화적 이미지 캘린더 사진에 대한 연구

Abstract

Photo is playing the important role in modern society as a means of visual communication essentially. It is more suitable that other expression means. In expressing the desire of governing classes of society, in forming the origin of mass media such as movie or T.V. etc. As the photo was similar to the painting which has had the long history as the new visual from which appeared in the mid nineteen the century. The issue about the interaction of painting and picture has frequently raised after the appearance of photo. Especially, Sherra sought the reasonable and positive art in comparison with the expressionism which was emotional, Sensible and intuitional art, and grasped the object by the huo division based on sketch and solved the color issue scientifically. So, in this study, this researcher expressed with the picturesque image by retouching the pointillism of Sherra who is a, painter of neo-impressionist painter with photoshop. And, I manufactured 12 pieces of works and cover, so that it may be utilized as the calendar of bakery which is 'Ehwa Bakery'. And, this researcher tries to clarity the aesthetic basis, by analyzing the relation between photo and painting, the photoshop, the calendar design, and Sherra and neo-impressionism.;사진은 본질적으로 시각적 커뮤니케이션의 한 수단으로서, 현대 사회에서 중요한 역할을 하고 있다. 영화나 T.V.등 대량 매체의 기원을 이루며, 사회지배 계층의 욕구를 표현함에 있어서 다른 표현 수단 보다 더 적합하다. 사진은 19C 중엽에 출연한 새로운 시각형식으로서 오랜 역사를 갖고 있던 회화와 유사했기 때문에 사진의 출연이후, 회화와 사진의 상호 영향에 대한 문제가 자주 제기되어 왔다. 특히, 쇠라는 감정적, 감각적, 직관적 예술이었던 인상파에 비해 이성적, 실증적인 예술을 추구했고, 점묘에 의한 색조 분할로 대상을 파악하고 색채문제를 과학적으로 해결했다. 이에 본 논문은 신인상파 화가인 쇠라의 점묘법을 포토샵으로 리터치하여, 회화적인 이미지로 표현하였다. 그리고 '이화 베이커리' 라는 제과점을 캘린더로 활용될 수 있도록 12점의 작품과 표지를 제작하였다. 그리고 사진과 회화와의 관계, 포토샵, 캘린더 디자인, 쇠라와 신인상주의에 대해 분석하여, 미적인 토대를 밝히고자 한다.
