납방염에 의한 자연현상의 이미지표현 연구

Abstract

인간의 삶은 끊임없이 자연의 변화와 조화속에서 물질적, 정신적인 영향을 받고 있으며 자연이 인간에게 주는 감동은 모든 예술의 근원이 되고 예술가는 자연의 법칙에 순응하며 그 곳에서 체험한 미를 표현해 왔다. 현대미술의 경향은 자연 대상을 그대로 재현하는 것이 아닌 작가의 독창적 세계를 보여주고 있으며 이것은 인간의 영혼의 세계를 표현하는 정신적인 과정으로 자연을 통하여 자기표현의 가능성을 찾는 것이다. 따라서 본 연구자는 자연을 소재로 직관적으로 관찰되어진 자연의 이미지를 어떻게 형상화 할 수 있는가 하는 문제와 자연에서 끊임없이 생성되는 율동성을 재구성 표현하므로써 조형적 염색 작품의 표현 가능성을 모색하는데 연구의 목적이 있다. 이러한 목적을 위하여 Ⅱ장 이론적 배경에서 자연과 예술, 인간과의 관계와 자연을 관찰하고, 자연관의 시대적 배경에 따른 변천과정과 소재의 변형에 대하여 알아보고 Ⅲ장에서는 이러한 이론적 연구를 바탕으로 작품 제작을 위한 표현소재, 형태와 색채, 재료와 방법에 대한 연구와 작품제작 분식을 통하여 다음과 같은 결론을 얻었다. 첫째, 자연은 세부에 이르기까지 여러 가지 변화와 질서를 가지고 나름대로 그 형이 구성되어 있다. 따라서 그 속에 내재된 자연의 생동감 있는 율동미는 조형적 작품의 적절한 요소가되며 또한, 자연대상을 단순히 모방하는 것이 아니라 작가의 체험과 주관에 따라 독특한 방법으로 표현하며 이 과정을 통하여 자연은 또 다른 모습으로 표현되고 우리에게 새로운 미적감동을 줄 수 있음을 알게 되었다. 둘째, 자연의 이미지를 표현하기 위하여 이용한 납방염 기법은 염료의 착색과 방염을 반복하여 얻어지는 단계적 변화로 색을 농담변화를 다양하게 나타낼 수 있어 깊이 감의 표현에 용이하며 작업과정이 단순하고 염색공예만이 지닐 수 있는 독특한 표현양식을 가질 수 있음을 재확인 하였다. 셋째, 섬유예술에 있어 작품제작은 자연의 외면보다는 이미지의 역동성과 다양한 변화를 중심으로 자연의 이미지를 표현하고자 노력하여야 하며, 조형의지를 실현함에 있어 현대미술의 표현과 기법이 다양화 하는 것 처럼 계속적인 연구와 제작활동을 통해 새로운 기법과 양식을 개발하여 조형예술로써 그 영역을 넓히고 발전시켜 나아가고자 한다.;The human life is continuously influenced, materially and spiritually by the change and harmony of nature and the impression that nature gives man become the resource of every art and an artist adapts himself to the haw of nature and has express beauty he experienced in nature. The trend of modern art shows the original world of artists which is not a mere reproduction of natural objects and that kind of work is to find a possibility of self-expression through nature as spiritual process of expressing the world of the human sole. So, the present researchey, taking nature as subject matter, is going to explain how natural images observed intuitionally, can be figured, and to find a possibiIity of expression of formative dyeing ~ works through reconstruction of rhythms that are generated endlessly in nature. For that purpose, in the theoretical background of chapterⅡ, the relation between nature and art, and nature are observed and the process of change and transformation of subject matters are examined in accordance with the background of the times of the view of nature. In chapterⅡ subject matters of expression forms and colors, and materials and methods are studied for the production of wooks on the basis of the thoretical study. First, nature has the own shape with varied changes and order into details. Therefore rhythmical beauty full of life, which is immanent inside it, will be an appropriate factor for the formative work of art. Also subjects of nature is not just simply imitated, but also expressed in unique way in accordance with artist's experience and subjectivity, which makes nature eventually reveals itself with another appearance and give new aesthetic impression. Second, it has been real firmed that technique of Batik Dyeing, used to express nature's image, is convenient in expressing sense of depth by making it possible to express change of shades of color with gradually changing levels through repetition of dyeing and coloring of colors, as well as simple work process and the unique style expression. Third, a work of art in textile art should be completed with endeavors to express nature's image centering around varied changes and energetic image rather than nature's apparent face, and it is intended to broaden and develop the scope the scope of plastic work activity by deveploping new techniques and styles through constant study and creative in achieving the will of plastic work activity as expression and techniques has been getting more varied in modern art.
