입체파 피카소의 작품을 응용한 테이블 웨어

Abstract

테이블 웨어는 인간이 생활을 시작하면서부터 사용되어져 온 중요한 생활용품이다. 생활수준이 향상되고 급변하는 사회에 사는 현대인은 정신적인 면에서 테이블 웨어의 새로운 디자인을 요구하며 일상생활에서 미를 추구하는 경향은 다양하고 혁신적인 테이블 웨어를 요구하게 되었다. 본 연구는 이러한 현대인의 요구를 충족시켜 나가기 위하여 기능적이면서 정신적인 풍요로움을 주며 새로운 형태미를 가진 현대적인 레이블 웨어를 디자인하는데 목적을 두었다. 피카소는 수세기동안 내려오던 전통적인 미의 개념을 바꾸어 놓았다. 그는 개인의 독특한 시각과 자유분방한 사고, 새로운 미를 향한 끊임없는 연구와 시도를 통해 20세기 미술에 살아있는 새로운 미술전통을 창조하였다. 본 연구에서는 표현 가능성에 대한 새로운 태도와 독특한 시각을 보여준 피카소의 회화작품에서 받은 강렬한 인상을 입체적인 테이블 웨어의 형태와 표면에 자유롭게 표현하려 한다. 본 연구자의 일상의 경험에 의한 서정적인 심상을 표면에 장식함으로 정신적인 풍요로움을 경험하도록 시도하고자 한다. 연구내용은 식기의 일반적인 특징과 기능성을 살펴보았다. 식기중에서 본 연구의 중심이 된 접시(Plate), 꽃병(Vase), 머그(Mug), 설탕·프림기, 보울(Bowl)의 기능성을 연구하였으며, 피카소의 작품에 대한 이해를 돕기 위해 입체파의 발달과정을 알아보고 그의 작품에 대해 고찰하였다. 작품 제작 방법에 있어서는 대량생산을 위해 석고틀을 이용한 이장주입성형기법을 택하였고 점토는 백색도가 좋고 작품제작에 용이한 고려도토사의 슈퍼화이트와 밀양백토를 사용하였다. 시유는 바탕의 무늬와 색상을 살리기 위해서 투명유에 담금하고 소성은 0.3㎥ 전기가마에서 마침온도 850℃로 7시간 동안 1차소성한 후 마침온도 1250℃로 10시간동안 2차소성하였다. 독자적인 조형방법과 시각으로 세상과 사물을 보고, 전혀 존재하지 않는 방식을 이용하여 사물을 해체한 작가인 피카소를 통해 시각 세계에 대한 새로운 양식을 재인식함으로 독특한 조형미를 창조하고자 하였다. 본 연구를 통해서 표면장식을 통한 시각적 효과는 형태만을 응용한 테이블 웨어보다 많은 것을 사용자에게 전달하는 것을 경험하게 되었으며 인간의 이성과 감성에 영향을 미침으로 정서 순화에 유익함을 깊이 인식하게 되었다. 앞으로도 개성적이며 독특한 시각에서 다양한 창조를 시도함으로써 기능성과 심미성, 정신적인 풍요로움을 얻는 디자인의 시도가 계속해서 활발해지기를 기대한다.;The "table ware" is an important living-ware which has been abreasted with the history of human lives. As the level of human lives is elevated, the needs for the new designs of table wares become more urgent. Also, asks for the table wares containing spiritual depth are great in ever-changing modem society. The tendency pursuing a "beauty of the daily lives" has caused many needs for the various and revolutionary beauties in table wares. This thesis put its purposes in a pursuit toward spiritual beauty and a study for the new dimension of beauty in creating designs harmonized with effectiveness. Picasso made a change in the concept of beauty handed down for centuries He established a new tradition in the 20eh century's fine arts through his unique view, liberal thought and constant pursuits and tries toward a new dimension of beauty. Thus, this research tries to design the table wares applying Picasso's drawings of unique view. And that, Spiritual abundance was sought to express freely the researcher's sensibility about the lyrical aspects and the usual experiences. The contents of this thesis consists of a study of the general distincts and faculties of table wares, a study about the development of "cubism" to design works based on the understanding about Picasso's works and a research after Picasso's main works. As a manufacturing method, "slip casting methods" was chosen for mass production by use of a plaster frame. As for clay, the white one is better, so that "Super - White of Goryodoto" and "Milyang white day" were used. Surface decoration was done by use of a ceramic pencil, ceramic crayons, dyes. The glaze was used as soaking by a transparent glaze to make the figures and colors of bottom vivid. Also, in the 0.3㎥ electric pot, the first roasting was performed at the finishing degree of 850℃ , and then the second roasting was done at the finishing degree of 1250℃. Through this research, it has been tried to satisfy moderns' desires by creating the new, unique table wares considering effective faculty, experiential beauty and spiritual opulence. Besides, it has been pursued to make the vivid and active designs which can completly harmonize the spiritual needs with the effective ones asked by modem society.
