Abstract

Modern society brings the industrial society a spreader due to the rapid upheaval of scientific civilization. Richer materials like those make man have more convenient and comfortable. People, however, live with contradiction that they lose their rational judge and governability on the environment(made by on their own), because they have pursued material wealth. Modern upgrowth in science, technology, culture, and social structure give human heart dreary wind. Mass production economy has created a new argument for market economy even so to control their hobby and characteristics, that it demands unconcerned life style with human originated will or mental quest. It conclusively results in social phenomena, alienation of people themselves, loss of humanity, etc. Within the urban-centered life full of increasing material civilization, modern people are under pressure of anxiety and dangerousness, so as to have a hope for exodus from the conflicts in the real life. Modern adults indulge in delusion that long for being back to the childhood in want for escape from those complicated real states. This research aims to remind them of the child's minds and the pure emotions falling back upon the forgotten past, and to outfit a shelter in the course of reading fairytale stories now in adulthood.;현대 사회는 급속한 과학 문명의 발달로 산업 사회의 확장을 가져왔으며 이로 인한 물질적 풍요의 증대는 인간을 더욱 더 편리하고 안락한 생활을 누리게 해 주었다. 그러나 인간이 물질적 풍요로움만을 추구한 결과 이성적인 사고 능력을 상실해 가고 인간이 만든 환경에 지배되는 모순 속에 살고 있다. 현대의 과학, 기술, 문화, 사회 구조의 발전은 인간의 심성을 황폐하게 만들었으며 오랫동안 발전시 켜온 대 량 생산의 경제 체제는 새로운 시장 경제의 논리를 창출하여 인간의 취미와 성향까지도 조절하여 인간 본연의 의사나 정신적 추구와는 무관하게 삶의 양식을 강요하고 있어 인간 자신을 소외시키고 인간성의 상실이라는 사회 현상을 야기시키고 있다. 이와 같이 팽창하는 물질 문명의 도시 중심적인 생활 속에 현대인들은 정신적 불안과 위기감이 가중되고 주위의 여러 가지 생활에서 부딪히는 현실에서 탈피하려는 기대를 갖게 되어 지친 몸과 마음을 쉴 수 있는 안식처를 찾게 된다. 현대의 성인들은 이러한 복잡한 현실 상황 속에서 탈피하고 싶은 마음에서 어린 시절로 돌아가고 싶다는 환상에 빠지게 되는데 본 연구의 의도는 이렇게 복잡한 환경 속에 생활하는 문명인들이 어릴적 동심을 동경하고 어린 시절 읽었던 동화책을 어른이 되고 난 현실에 와서 다시 읽음으로써 잊고 지냈던 과거로의 순수한 감정과 동심을 떠올리고 안식처를 제공하기 위한 의도라고 할 수 있다.
