우리時代의 社會像에 대한 시각표현 연구

Abstract

일러스트레이션이 시대표현의 미디어로 그 영역을 확장해 나가고 있는 시점에서 작가가 어떠한 시각을 통해서 어떻게 조명하는가는 중요한 문제로 대두된다. 본 논문은 대명제로써의 가치전복의 일러스트레이션의 접근이 아닌 우리주변의 일상을 긍정적인 시각으로 표현의 의도를 두었고, 소재는 월간지등에서 기사화된 이야기를 그림으로 표현하였다. 이론적 배경으로 일러스트레이션의 개념을 통하여 현대의 시각 전달매체로서의 역할과, 언어적 기능, 일러스트레이션의 현실에서의 반영의 문제를 다루었다. 또한 우리의 대략적인 사회적 분위기를 간략하게 언급하였다. 작품전개에서 동화적인 표현전개로 시각적 즐거움의 의도로 표현을 하였다. 본인은 일러스트레이션이 개인적인 예술의 영역에서, 더 나아가 사회의 일면을 보여주는 사회예술이므로 긍정적인 방향이어야 한다는 입장이고, 그러한 바람직한 시각환경을 위해서는 사회적 인식의 바탕위에서 표현되어져야 한다는 생각이다. 이번 연구는 일러스트레이션의 보다 새로운 시각과 효과적인 표현추구에 도움이 되게하고 스스로의 표현세계를 확장시키는 기회로 삼고자한다.;As illustration is slowly edging its way into the modern art world, the major theme is this, how does the artist perceive the objects and how is it addressed? This study purports to simply represent the general and normal daily life in a positive light, through the expressions from illustration. The subject matter was chosen from articles and stories in magazines. As a theoretical basis, the concept of illustration is seen as the vessel of modern thought and the function of verbal communication. Furthermore, the society's attitude and conditions have been outlined. The expressions in the art work are purposefully comic and light, delivering a visual fantasy. The researcher purports that illustration will soon be able to lead the social art as a positive pointer. In order to realize the positive visual environment, the expressions of the illustration should be based on social consciousness. This study aims to provide a new and effective perception of expression through illustration, also aiming to further the current horizon of expressions.
