동화 일러스트레이션을 소재로 한 날염 디자인 연구

Abstract

Human beings can not exist without space and always spend daily life in a small area. Beautiful space may be obtained by taking tender care of living area with an attitude toward a good life. Because the personality formed in childhood has a great influence on that of adult, a matter of design must be considered for children. Therefore this study on the textile design for children's mom is not dealing simple repeated patterns or designs on cartoons which excite curiousity of children but tries to suggest a good motive which develops children's imaginations. Also the motive persued brings children to the world of tales by various visual experiences through the different subjects and representing methods of educational stories in the children's books reflecting emotion. For this, we analyze consumer's favor by survey as well as make home furnishing with printed fabric after screen printing. The conclusions are as follows ; 1. Tales give dreams, hopes and imaginations to children. Therefore we know the development of patterns on the subject to the tales has a direct effect to the development of their emotions. 2. It is actually meaningful to development the textile design for children's room where they spend a lot of time, for children spend most time with play and through that play they develop the social behaviors. 3. By the change of social and cultural sense human beings living in modern society prefer their own special designs to the standardized products. Therefore in the study on pattern, by showing the variety of motives on the subject to new tales, in the future for children's products, the textile design is a field to study continuously.;공간을 떠나서는 존재할 수 없으며 하루의 생활을 언제나 한정된 공간에서 가지게 된다. 쾌적한 공간은 결국 쾌적한 삶의 자세 그 속에서도 자신이 머무는 공간에 얼마만금 세세한 손길과 마음자세를 갖느냐에 의해 손쉽게 얻을 수 있다. 디자인 문제는 어렸을 때부터 관심의 대상이 되어야 하며 이는 유아기와 아동기의 성장이 곧 성인의 인격 형성에 지대한 영향을 미치기 때문이다. 따라 서 본 논문에서는 어린이 방의 퍼니싱 디자인에 있어서 단순히 반복적 무늬나 일시적 호기심을 자극하는 만화가 주류를 이루는 아동용 디자인에서 벗어나 어린이들의 정서를 반영한 교훈적인 동화 속의 이야기를 소재로 각기 다른 주제와 표현 기법을 통해 어린이에게 다양한 시각적 경험으로 상상력을 키우고 이야기 세계로 끌어들일 수 있는 동기를 제시하고자 하였다. 이를 위하여 설문지를 통하여 시장조사를 하였고 그와 병행하여 페이퍼 디자인을 한 후 스크린 프린팅으로 실생활 용품을 제작하였다. 본 논문을 진행하는 과정에서 얻은 결론은 다음과 같다. 첫째, 동화는 어린이에게 상상력과 함께 꿈과 희망을 준다. 그러므로 동화를 소재로 한 패턴의 개발은 아동의 정서 발달에 직접적인 영향이 있다는 것을 알았다. 둘째, 아이들은 대부분의 시간을 놀이로 보내게 되고 놀이를 통해서 사회적 행동을 발달시키므로 아이들이 많은 시간을 보내게 되는 어린이 방을 위한 날염 디자인 연구는 사실상 의미가 있었다. 셋째, 연대 사회는 인간의 사회적, 문화적인 의식 변화에 따라 획일화된 제품보다는 자기만의 독특한 디자인을 선호하게 되었다. 이러한 시점에서 창작동화들을 소재로 하여 다양한 모티브들을 제시함으로써 앞으로 아동 제품에 있어서 날염 디자인이 계속 연구되어야 할 분야임을 알 수 있었다.
