장애이해를 주제로 한 일러스트레이션 표현연구

Abstract

Today, "Illustration" is being expanded day by day with the possibility that the range of expression and application is infinite in the modern society, by penetrating into many realms such as design, advertisement, architecture, reflection and super graphic etc. deeply. As for the merit of illustration, to explain the part which cannot be expressed with photoes visually is possible by the personality and viewpoint of artists. And, it is to induce the interest of I readers, by making them understand and educate or by widening the width of imagination, through the suggestion of new issue or the giving of solution on general populace. Illustration is not the painting of non-subject, and it is not the self-satisfield drawing that it is good even to know what it is expressing to others, and it is not what described human body or natural beauty as it is, and it is not the simple decorative thing also. illustration may be said as what places the expression value on the subject with the goal to visualize the subject more clearly. On the basis of the visual transmission function of theis illustration, the designer must have the sense of duty to have to transmit the right social consiousness and sense of value to populace, with the social sense of responsibility. In this study, this researcher tried to express, so that one may feel sympathy toward the pain of the handicapped, through the right understanding about the handicapped, with this social sense of responsibility. This researcher studied the expression method based on the expressionismistic method to transmit the inner expression and the psychologicl and emotional message that the expression is strong, so that one may feel sumpathy toward the psychological sense of burden of the handicapped, by accepting the world of the handicapped as one alien culture and experiencing their culture. So as to help the right understanding about the handicapped with the concrete theory. this researcher examined what are the meaning and wrong prejudice about the handicapped, examined the function of communication of illustration and whether the illustration is suitable a s the visual transmission method through case. By this expression method, this researcher manufactured the work which is suitable for the goal and technique of expression directly, on the basis of the vision and sensitivity of artise. This researcher tried to have the dramatic effect in transmitting their emotion, by expressing the psychological contents of the handicapped with the negative method. This researcher tried to study the effective method for transmitting the sensitivity to be able to feel sympathy toward the pain that the handicapped feel as we feel sympathy toward the thick impression.;오늘날 "일러스트레이션" 은 디자인, 광고, 건축, 영상, 수퍼그래픽등 많은 영역에 깊숙히 파고들어 현대사회 속에서 그 표현과 적용범위가 무한한 가능성을 가지고 날로 확대되어 가고 있다. 일러스트레이션의 장점은 사진으로 표현할 수 없는 부분을 작가의 개성과 관점에 의해 시각적으로 설명 가능하며 일반 대중을 대상으로 새로운 문제를 제시하거나 해답을 줌으로써 독자들을 이해시키고 교육시키며 또는 상상의 폭을 넓혀주어 흥미를 유발 시켜주는데 있다. 일러스트레이션은 무주제의 회화도 아니고, 또 남에게 무엇을 표현하고 있는지 모른다고 해도 좋다고 하는 자기 충족적인 그림도 아니며 인체나 자연미를 그냥 묘사한 것도 아니며 단순한 장식적인 것도 아니다. 일러스트레이션은 주제를 보다 명확하게 시각적으로 전달하는 목적을 갖고 주제에 표현가치를 두는 것이라고 할 수 있다. 이러한 일러스트레이션의 시각전달 기능을 토대로 디자이너는 사회적인 책임감을 가지고 올바른 사회의식과 가치관을 대중에게 전달할 사명감을 가져야 한다. 본 논문은 이러한 사회적 책임감을 가지고 장애인에 대하여 올바른 이해를 통하여 그들의 고통을 공감할 수 있도록 표현하고자 하였다. 장애인들의 세계를 하나의 이질적인 문화로 받아들이며 그들의 문화를 체험함으로 그들의 심리적인 부담감을 공감할 수 있는 내면적인 표현과 심리적, 정서적인 메시지를 전달하는 표현주의적인 표현방법을 연구하였다. 장애인에 대한 올바른 이해를 돕기 위해 장애인에 대한 의미와 잘못된 편견이 무엇인지 구체적으로 알아보고 일러스트레이션의 커뮤니케이션의 기능과 시각전달 매체로서 적합한지, 시각전달방법에 있어서 부정적인 방법에 의한 표현을 사례를 통해 분석하였다. 이러한 표현방법에 의해 작가의 시각과 감성에 의하여 표현목적과 기법에 맞는 작품을 직접 제작하였다. 장애인의 심리적인 내용을 부정적인 방법으로 표현함으로 그들의 감정을 전달하는데 있어 극적인 효과를 누리고자 하였다. 또한 진한 감동을 공감하듯이 장애인들이 느끼는 고통을 공감할 수 있는 효과적인 감정전달 방법을 연구하고자 하였다.
