그리스도교적 희망의 시각표현 연구

Abstract

인간이 희망한다고 하는 것은 자기의 모든 것을 열어두고 지금 현재와는 다른 보다 더 나은 어떤 새로운 것을 지향하는 것이다. 인류는 인간의 본질적인 희망을 갖고 자신의 삶을 개발시켜 문명의 발달을 이룩해왔다. 그러나 그러한 문명의 발달 속에서 인간은 점차 비인간화 되어지고 소외되어지며, 결국 인간의 한계점에 도달하게 된다. 죽음이라는 거대한 장벽 앞에 인간은 자신의 한계를 알게되었고 그 한계는 결국 죽음을 넘어서는 삶에 대한 희망을 찾게 하였다. 인간은 죽음을 넘어서는 삶에 대한 희망을 가지고 궁극적인 실재의 완성을 희망하게 되었고 그것은 그들의 꿈과 소망이기도 하였다. 그런 그들에게 예수 그리스도의 십자가는 인류에게 희망을 제시해 주는 근거가 되었다. 이러한 그리스도교적 신앙의 관점에서 본 연구자는 다음과 같은 차례로 연구를 시도하여 보았다. 제 1 장은 연구의 목적과 그 내용 및 방법을 기술하였다. 제 2 장은 시각적 표현을 위한 이론적 배경으로 인간이 희망을 잃게 된 배경을 살펴보고 인간 본질로서의 희망을 파악, 그에 대한 결론으로서 그리스도교적 희망을 제시하여 희망의 시각화 작업에 도움이 되고자 하였다. 제 3 장은 그리스도교적 희망의 표현을 위한 빛의 상징성에 대하여 살펴보았다. 제 4 장은 선행된 이론적 배경을 바탕으로 본인 작품에 나타나는 희망에 대한 상징적 의미로서의 빛과 색채를 연구하였으며 이를 시각적으로 표현하고 분석하여 기독교적 의미의 희망을 전달하고자 하였다. 본 연구는 불안감을 느끼며 소외된 인간 사회 속에서 그리스도교 신앙의 관점에 서서 인간의 본질을 깨닫게 하고, 인간에게 있어 궁극적 희망이란 예수 그리스도의 십자가와 부활을 통하여 인류의 구원이라는 희망을 즉 그리스도교적 희망임을 시각적으로 표현하여 그 메세지를 전달하고자 하였다. 빛이라는 상징언어를 사용하여 그리스도교적 희망을 표현했으며 이 빛으로 인하여 인간이 보다 긍정적이고 보다 바람직한 미래를 향한 삶을 살아갈 수 있는 길을 제시하고자 하였다.;That man hopes means to head for something new which is better than the present with opening his everything. The human has accomplished the development of civilization by cultivating his living with the intrinsic hope. However man who became gradually inhuman and isolated in the course of such a civilization-development comes to the 1 imitation :in the end. He came to know his limitation before the enormous barrier, death, and has searched for the hope of living beyond the death owing to the limitation. The human hoped the ultimate perfection of real existence with the hope for living beyond the death, and at the same time it was his dream and wish. This study was attempted in the view of christianlike belief as follows. In section 1, the purpose and content or method of this study were described. In section 2, the background of losing hope based on the theorectical support for visual expression was surveyed, and the wish as the human nature was perceived. Thus it was intended to give help to the visual working of hope with the Christianlike hope as its conclusion. In section 3, the symbolism of light for the expression of the Christianlike hope was investigated. In section 4, the light and color was studied as a symbolic meaning on the hope which is appearing in my works based on the theorectical context above. In this way this study tried to deliver the hope in the Christianlike meaning by expressing and analyzing them visually. Also the study made the human recognize his nature in the view of the Christian belief in the isolated and anxious society, and thus attempted to give a message by expressing the Christianlike hope visually, a wish for the human relief through the Cross and the Resurrection of Jesus Christ which is the ultimate hope for the human. Finally the study presented the Christianlike hope by using the light, a symbolic language and suggested a way for living the future which is more positive and desirable due to the light.
