서울시내 특수학교에서의 교수매체활용에 관한 실태조사 연구

Abstract

우리나라는 70년대의 경제기반 구축과 함께 특수교육에 대한 관심을 갖게 되었는데, 70년대 이후의 특수학교의 양적 성장이 이를 뒷받침하고 있다. 이에 따라 심신장애자 교육에 대한 종합적인 교육정책적 배려가 요구되고 있다. 본 연구의 목적은 특수학교에서의 교수매체 활용실태를 설문조사를 통하여 검토하고 이를 토대로 특수학교에서의 교수매체활용을 활성화하고 나아가서는 특수교육의 질적 향상에 도움이 되고자 한다. 이 목적을 수행하기 위하여 서울시내 소재한 16개교의 특수학교 교사 300명을 대상으로 설문 조사하여 회수된 221부의 설문지를 대상으로 조사 연구를 실시하였다. 그 결과를 종합적으로 분석해 보면 다음과 같다. 1. 특수학교 교사들은 교육에서의 교수매체활용에 대한 필요성을 인식하고 있었으나 실제적으로 교수매체 활용빈도는 저조한 것으로 나타났다. 2. 특수학교의 대부분의 교사들이 특수교육에서의 교수매체 활용효과가 높다고 지적하였다. 아동들의 반응 역시 높다고 하였으나 교수매체 보유량과 시설 등의 부족 교수매체에 관한 지식의 결여 등의 문제로 인해 실제 교수매체활용을 어렵게 한다고 지적하였다. 3. 교사들의 교수매체활용을 보조해 줄 교수매체담당자의 필요성을 인식하고 있었으나 교수매체담당자가 있는 학교는 드물었다. 또한 교사들의 교수매체활용을 활성화시킬 수 있는 연수교육을 받은 적이 없는 교사들도 상당수 있음이 나타났다. 이와 같은 조사결과를 토대로 특수학교에서의 교수매체활용 활성화를 위해 다음과 같은 제언을 하고자 한다. 1 특수아동의 장애유형과 개인차를 고려한 교수매체의 개발과 활용을 위한 특수교육매체 개발센터가 설치되어야 한다. 2. 특수학교 교사들에게 교수매체활용을 보조할 수 있도록 문교부는 각 특수학교마다 교수매체담당자를 의무적으로 배치하여야 한다. 3. 교수매체에 관한 지식을 높이기 위해 교사들의 교수매체에 관한 연수기회를 확장하여야 한다. 4. 교수매체 기자재와 시설확보를 위하여 당국의 적극적인 지원이 요구된다.;The special education in Korea has been focused with the establishment of economic foundations in 1970's and the increasement of the special educational schools supported this since 1970's. This needs the synthesized consideration of educational policy for the education of the person who is impeded mentally and physically. The aim of this study is to examine the situation of the use of the teaching media as the special educational school through inquiry and with this to activate the use of teaching medea and therefore to help the qualitative development of the special education. After the inquiry investigation with the 300teachers out of the 16 special educational schools in Seoul and the examinations were carried out against the 221 inquiries responded. The generalized analysis of this results is followed ; 1. The teachers in the specialized schools are recognized the zed the need for the use of teaching media but it found that actual frequencies of the use of teaching media but it found that actual frequencies of the use of teaching media were low. 2. The most of the teachers in the specialized schools reported that the use of teaching media was effective and the children's reponses were good, but they indicated that it is difficult to use teaching media because of the deficiency of the facilities and the retaining amount of teaching media and the lack of know-ledge for it. 3. They understood the needs of the person in charge of the teaching media for the support of using it, but there are a few school's which have the changing one. It was found that there were many teachers who had never learned about the practice for the active use of teaching media. From this result of investigation, the references are made for the activation of teaching media at the special educational schools. 1. It is necessary to establish the development center of special teaching media for the development and the active use of teaching media with the consideration of the difference among individuals and the impeded style in disabled children. 2. The Ministry of Education have to dispose compulsorily the professional of teaching media at each special school in order to support teachers using the teaching media. 3. The opportunities of practice have to be enlarged for the increase in knowledge of teaching media. 4. There is absolute need for the support of educational autio-rities in order to secure the facilities and instrument of teaching media.
