분산된 학습자료 공유를 위한 P2P 웹 게시판 설계

Abstract

The traditional paradigm for higher education was mainly emphasized on the functional role. It treats the students as the consumer or learner of knowledge. However, the education using the information-oriented skills in this 21^(st) century give us a new way of cultivating the productive learner who can rapidly reproduce corresponding information by himself. The main stream of the whole changes in the educational paradigm has to be changed to the educator-based from the current supplier-based structure. These changes are driven by the new educational paradigm, the changes of roles between students and teachers, education method and environmental changes of school or classroom aspects. The changes of role of the learners are categorized into many types such as online education, cyber education, web-based education, e-learning, and remote education, etc. Because of the diffusion of internet PCs and the growth of network technologies, we recognize that the web-based education is one of the most important tools of learning. Because Web has many merits such as learning focused on students, interactive communication, and many communication medium. Web technologies can be used as enabler for materializing data of classroom management, materials for teaching students, teaching plans, business materials, and sharing lots of materials with bulletin and e-mail. Especially, when the bulletin board is used for educational purpose, it produces mutual interaction between teacher and student apart from the instructor and is very effective on the solving problems, critical thinking, extension of self-leaded learning. On the students' point of view, the web bulletin board as client/server structure can not satisfy students' desire to control, exchange and share resources directly because students must connect the server when they want to get the learning materials. Therefore, students can share learning materials through the server only. Considering on the aspect of system, if number of students who connect the server increase, it makes the system & network environment slower and causes lots of additional expenses. It also makes the server management hard to control, too. This thesis suggests the new concept for the P2P web bulletin for sharing the distributed learning materials in order to solve the current problems of web bulletin with the client/server structure. In educational aspects, the P2P web bulletin can meet the learners' needs not as a mere receiver but as a supplier of learning materials. In the technological aspects, using the clients' computers can minimize the waste of the human and material resources because of distribution the learning materials and server managements. It also can expand the dynamic web path to explore and collect learning materials into the personal database from the web page itself.;전통적 교육의 패러다임에서는 학생을 지식의 소비자 또는 지식의 습득자로 양성하는 기능적 역할을 강조해 왔다. 그러나 21C 정보화 사회의 교육은 학습자가 급변하는 정보화 사회 속에서 주도적이며 능동적으로 대처하기 위해 필요한 정보를 스스로 재생산할 수 있는 생산적 학습자의 양성을 요구하고 있다. 즉, 교육패러다임의 전체적 변화의 주제는 교육 공급자 중심체제에서 교육 수요자의 학습 주도성 중심체제로 변화되어야 한다는 것이다. 이러한 변화는 신교육패러다임의 등장, 학습자 및 교수자의 역할 변화, 그리고 교육방법 및 학교/교실의 환경적 변화의 측면에서 나타나게 되었다. 학습자의 역할의 변화는 온라인 교육, 사이버 교육(가상 교육), 웹기반 교육, e-러닝, 원격 교육 등의 다양한 형태로 나타나고 있다. 인터넷 PC의 보급과 초고속 통신망의 발전으로 웹을 이용한 교육이 중요한 학습의 도구의 수단으로 인식되고 있다. 웹은 수요자 중심의 학습, 상호 작용적 의사소통, 다양한 매체 사용이 가능하다는 장점이 있기 때문이다. 웹 기술들은 크게 게시판과 전자우편을 사용하여 학급 경영자료, 교수 학습자료, 지도안, 업무자료, 그 밖의 각종 자료 공유를 구현한다. 특히 게시판은 교육을 위해 사용되었을 때, 공간적으로 떨어져 있는 학습자 사이, 혹은 교수자와 학습자 사이의 상호작용을 촉진시킬 수 있으며 문제 해결력, 비판적 사고, 자기 주도적 학습 능력의 신장에 효과적이다. 그러나 클라이언트/서버 구조의 웹 게시판은 학습자 측면에서는 여러 학습자가 서버에 연결되어 반드시 서버를 통해서만 학습자료를 공유 할 수 있어 학습자들이 자원들을 직접 제어, 교환 그리고 공유하고 싶은 욕구를 충족시켜 주지 못한다. 시스템 측면에서 고려해 본다면 사용자가 증가되었을 때 이로 인한 시스템 및 네트워크 부하가 많이 걸리고 데이터의 저장량의 증가로 인하여 메모리나 하드 드라이브 등의 확장은 많은 비용을 초래한다. 높은 성능과 용량의 서버 관리가 복잡해 지며 플렛폼에 영향을 많이 받게 된다. 이러한 클라이언트/서버 구조의 웹 게시판을 보안하기 위해 위 논문에서는 분산 학습자료 공유를 위한 P2P 웹 게시판을 제안한다. P2P로 구조로 설계 된 웹 게시판은 교육적 측면에 있어서 학습자가 일방적인 학습자료의 수요자에서 학습자료의 공급자로의 욕구를 충족시킬 수 있다. 기술적인 측면에서는 클라이언트 컴퓨터만을 사용하여 자료의 공유 및 관리를 분산함으로 인해 대용량 서버를 구입함으로써 발생하는 인적, 물적 자원의 낭비를 최소화 할 수 있다. 정보를 탐색·수집할 수 있는 경로가 웹 페이지에 국한되는 것이 아니라 개인이 보유하고 있는 데이터베이스까지 확대된다. 사용자 수가 늘어날수록 연산, 협업의 성과가 높아지는 등의 혜택을 제공할 수 있다.
