재해석하여 접근한 사군자 모티브를 중심으로 한 넥타이 디자인

Abstract

In today's society, fashion industry has developed and changed throughout the nations under the influence of internet. Thus it is clear to see that the trend emerges from all over the world at the same time. By forming enormous network, today's society changes fast and generally. People should acknowledge that nowadays, range of demand of textile design has been improved its quality to high level and been diversified due to risen income along with people's increased desire to well-being and luxury. In addition, I insist that people should also grope for aesthetics that create design together with finding a solution to pull out high value added design. Similarly to women cloths, a general tendency of men cloths is becoming individualized, diversified, and high-leveled. Furthermore, tie design plays an important role in expressing individuality of men. A concept of luxury attach importance to sensitivity and fashioning consumption pattern which take serious view to the aspects of image and esthetic in company with value of experience that people can possess together. For progress and variation, for artistic value which is beyond the bounds of time, and to preserve sensible sensibility, I studied possibilities of patterning high leveled designs with focusing on reinterpreting the Four Gracious Plants which is considered as image of traditional and oriental into modern style. Moreover, I developed design through patchwork method by dividing each striped patterns into geometric figure along with aiming high value added and diversity effect through attaching suede over silk. To make such attempt, I proceed my study according to the followings. First, among the methods of textile expression, I will discern some of those which is used in tie design. Second, research on concept of painting in the literary artistic style and symbol of the Four Gracious Plants through records and materials. Also, attempt to patternize the image of the Four Gracious Plants. Third, establish motive and color of modernly reinterpreted pattern of the Four Gracious Plants and present possibilities of various transformation by adenitis and digital printing. Fourth, examine textile arts which is utilized by patchwork method and provide different image which is approached by arrangements and composition of different materials. Fifth, present possibilities and transformations of pattern by utilizing line motive which is using suede in one method of collage over material utilized with patchwork. Sixth, through duplicated senses of bonding and laser cutting of motive, I present the possibilities of new vision in pattern. With being founded on the results, I would continue and develope my study through processes of transforming and creating tie design patterns with reinterpreting various motives into modern style. Also, would like to study which could present possibilities of new vision through new method of textile art expression and expect these methods be applied and developed.;현대사회에서 패션산업은 인터넷 등의 영향으로 국경없이 발전, 변화되고 있으며, 세계 어느 나라에서나 트렌드가 거의 동시에 나오고 있는 것을 알 수 있다. 거대한 네트워크가 형성되어 가고 있는 지금의 사회는 빠르고 총체적으로 변화하고 있다. 오늘날 섬유 디자인이 소득 수준의 향상과 현대인들의 웰빙과 럭셔리에 대한 갈망으로 그 수요의 범위가 질적으로 향상하여 고급화, 다양화되었음을 인지하고, 디자인을 창조하는 심미성과 함께 디자인의 고부가가치를 이끌어 낼 수 있는 방법도 같이 모색해야 한다고 생각한다. 남성복도 여성복과 마찬가지로 점점 개성화, 다양화, 고급화되어가고 있는 것이 전반적인 추세이며, 오늘날 넥타이 디자인은 남성을 위한 개성 표현의 역할을 다하고 있다. 럭셔리의 개념은 이미지와 미적인 측면을 중시하는 소비생활의 감성화, 패션화와 더불어 향유할 수 있는 체험적 가치를 중시 여긴다. 진보와 변화를 위해, 시간의 한계를 넘어선 예술적 가치를 위해, 감각적인 감성을 유지하기 위한 방법으로 본 연구자는 넥타이 디자인의 개발을 위하여 전통적이고 동양적인 느낌의 사군자 이미지를 모티브로 삼아 현대적으로 재해석하여 변형시켜 고부가가치를 창출하는 디자인의 모티브로 패턴화의 가능성을 연구해 보았다. 또한, 각각 다른 스트라이프 패턴을 기하학적인 면분할로 해서 패치워크 기법으로 디자인 개발하여 전개하였고, 실크 소재위에 스웨이드 소재를 덧대어 고부가가치와 함께 다양성의 효과를 꾀하고자 하였다. 본 연구자는 그러한 시도로서, 다음과 같은 과정으로 연구를 진행하였다. 첫째, 섬유예술 표현기법 중 넥타이에 활용되는 기법들을 살펴보고자 한다. 둘째, 문인화의 개념과 사군자의 상징성에 대해 문헌과 자료를 통해 알아보고, 사군자 이미지를 패턴화해보고자 한다. 셋째, 현대적으로 패턴화한 사군자 모티브, 칼라를 설정하고, 선염과 디지털 프린팅을 통해 다양한 변형과 가능성을 제시하고자 한다. 넷째, 패치워크 기법으로 활용된 섬유예술을 살펴보고, 각각의 다른 패턴의 원단을 배열과 구도에 의한 접근으로 패치워크 기법을 활용하여 다른 이미지를 부여하고자 한다. 다섯째, 패치워크 기법으로 활용된 원단에 꼴라주 기법의 하나로 스웨이드를 이용한 선 모티브를 활용하여 디자인의 요소로 활용해본다. 여섯째, 폴리에스테르 본딩천에 모티브를 레이저 컷팅하여 투과효과를 제시하며 새로운 비젼의 가능성을 알 수 있었다. 본 연구자는 작품 제작에 있어 그룹을 크게 모티브별, 표현기법별, 타이형태별로 나누고, 매,란,국,죽 각 모티브별마다 선염직과 디지털 프린팅 기법을 활용하여 디자인하고, 표현기법별에서는 패치워크 기법과 본딩과 레이저 컷팅 기법으로 분류되고, 넥타이 형태별로는 일반타이와 스카프 타이로 나누어 제작하였다. 이러한 과정을 통해 도출된 결론을 기반으로 앞으로도 다양한 모티브의 현대적 접근은 차별화된 넥타이 디자인의 개발의 가능성을 보여줄 수 있으며 지속적인 연구 개발로 이어져 섬유산업 발전에 기여할 수 있기를 기대한다.
