Bound weave를 이용한 직물 연구

Abstract

Today, in the modern life, the furniture became the essential thing to the extent that it may be referred to as the extension of human body and the part of human body, and it developed into peculiar mode in various areas according to the human living circumstances or culture or their life style with mankind history from old times. Thus, the expansion to the psychological function to offer the emotional shelter in addition to the role of simple furniture was made. Among these furnitures, chair has very vlose relation with human body as the rest system of human body system and as the furniture for supporting human body. And, the range was expanded to the function to offer the emotional shelter and comfort the human mind and body in addition to the role of simple furniture as the essence of the furniture to express the complex mode of one period and to reflect the quality or method that the period enjoyed most intensively. Fabric leads this human psychological spiritual need to the soft and comfortable atmosphere, and it has been reacted to the chair design softly, with the nature of heat insulation and the aesthetic function about indoor circumstances based on the diverse color change and unique texture. So, in this study, the historical background of chair design was studied so as to understand the exact concept and the basis about chair as the preceding study for fabric design. And, the raw material form and material which have been developed with the mode change of life circumstances were analyzed by period, about the chair design which has been adhered closely to human beings, awakening the human life and emotional aesthetic sense. In the work manufacture, the application possibility based on the fchange of color and material was suggested, with the technique of bound weave in the center, for the creative design development of fabric. The features of bound weave are as follows: 1. As the diverse change based on the structure of geometrical composition is possible, the pattern structure which is suitable for the modern life-style may be created. 2. In case of using Tabby, the feature of double weaving may be kept alive. So, there are durability and the nature of heat insulation. As this result, the significance of this thesis is to be helpful to playing the role of accelerant for making people reconize the original necessity of fabric in accordance with the diverse demand of modern life about the indoor space and for developing the design of peculiar fabric design to get out of the dependence and imitation of import fabric that the Korean business world of fabric is facing.;현대의 사회구조와 생활방식의 변천에 따라 실내공간의 중요성은 더욱 증대되고 이러한 실내공간은 우리의 생활과 아주 밀접하게 됨으로써 현대인은 더욱 아름답고 편안한 분위기를 요구하게 되었다. 실내공간에 사용되는 많은 재료 가운데 가구의 주재료로 사용되는 직물은 실내의 딱딱하고 차가운 공간을 부드러운 분위기로 나타낼 수 있는 것으로 개성 있는 공간의 연출을 시도할 수 있게 된다. 가구 중 의자는 인간과 가장 밀접한 관계의 도구로 가구의 기능으로서 역할만이 아니라 정서적 안식처를 제공하여 인간의 심신을 달래주는 기능까지 해왔으며 직물은 의자의 주재료로 실내의 분위기를 인간에게 보다 높은 안정감의 공간으로 이끌어주었다. 인체계의 휴식계 가구의 하나인 의자는 사람의 몸을 받치기 위한 기구로서 인간의 신체와 아주 밀접한 관계를 가지며 한 시대의 복잡다단한 양식을 잘 표현하고 그 시대가 향유하던 생활의 질이나 방식을 가장 집약적으로 반영하는 가구의 정수로 단순한 가구로서의 역할만이 아니라 정서적 안식처를 제공하는 기능으로까지 그 영역이 확대되어 있다. 이에 본 연구는 직물을 의자에 한정시켜 의자에 사용된 직물로서 그 역사적 배경과 직물의 색상, 소재를 살펴보고 창의력 있는 직물개발을 위하여 bound weave 중심으로 직물 sample 을 색상과 소재로 분류하여 연구 분석하고, 의자에 사용된 직물작품을 제작하였다. 그 결과 bound weave의 특징은 다음과 같다. 1) 기하학적 구성의 조직에 의한 다양한 변화가 가능하여 현대 생활양식에 적합한 패턴 조직을 창출할 수 있는 점 2) 태비를 이용할 경우 이중직의 특성을 살릴 수 있어 내구성과 보온성이 있다는 점 따라서 본 논문은 현대 생활의 실내공간에 대한 다양한 요구에 따라 의자에 사용된 직물의 독창적인 필요성을 인식시키고, 한국섬유업계에 고유 직물 디자인 개발로 촉진제 역활을 할 수 있도록 도움이 되고자 한다.
