5차 개정(1989)에 의한 중학교 1학년 5종 음악 교과서 비교 분석

Abstract

본 연구는 1987년 개정되어 1985년 3월 1일 신입생부터 적용되어 오고 있는 중학교 1학년 5종 검인정 음악 교과서의 비교 분석을 목적으로 하였다. 연구 방법은 문교부 발행 '교육 과정 총람'에 의거하여 1차에서 5차에 이르는 교육 과정 개정안 (1955, 1963, 1973, 1981, 1987)의 중심 내용을 살펴보고, 그 중 1983년 4차 교육 과정과 1987년 5차 교육 과정을 중점적으로 비교 분석하였다. 연구 내용에서는 5종의 음악 교과서에 수록된 곡들을 Ⅱ장 5절에 비교 분석 정리하였다. 1항 분야별, 2항 국내곡과 외국곡, 3항 민요, 4항 박자, 5항 조성, 6항 연주형태, 7항 음역, 8항 악곡형식에 있어서의 구성 비율과 9항 음악 교과서의 시대별 작품 경향 등 9가지로 나누어 비교 정리하였다. 특히, 5종의 음악 교과서에 수록되어 있는 10곡의 필수 악곡에 대해서는 6절에 구체적으로 비교 분석 정리하였다. 이상적 연구 결과를 종합하여 볼 때, 5차 교육 과정은 4차에 비해 본질적인 변화를 보이지 않고 있다. 교과 목표는 동일하며, 기본·표현·감상 능력의 세 항목에 대한 소목표와 내용을 갖는 4차 교육 과정이 5차에서는 표현 (음악적 감각 및 표현)능력과 감상 (음악 이해 및 태도)능력의 두 항목으로 조정되었다. 가창곡의 구성, 감상곡의 증가, 참고곡이나 선택곡으로 제시되어 있는 흥미있는 리듬의 가창곡 수록 등 개선점이 두드러진다. 그러나, 다음과 같은 점에 있어서는 교과 구성이 불균형을 이루고 있는 결과가 나타났다. 1. 지나친 가창곡 위주의 교과 구성. 2. 외국 기악곡에 치중된 구성. 3. 창작에 대한 체계적·구체적인 학습 지도 방법 미흡. 4. 시대별 작품 불균형. 5. 특정 지역에 치우친 우리 민요의 구성. 위에서 살펴 본 문제점들이 5종 음악 교과서에서 해결되어야 할 가장 급선무적인 문제점들이며, 음악 교사·음악 교육자들이 적극적으로 이러한 문제점의 해결을 모색할 때 앞으로의 우리 음악 교육 현장의 전망은 더욱 밝아질 것이다.;The purpose of this thesis is to compare and analyze the authorized five sorts of junior high school music textbooks which have been used by the seventh grade from March the first, 1989. This study is based on "a curriculum introduction" published by the Ministry of Education, and the major contents of the revised curricula bills from the first to the fifth (1955. 1963. 1973. 1981. 1987.) are examined. Among these curricula, the fourth and the fifth are compared and analyzed mainly. The substances are comparison, analysis and arrangement of music which is in five sorts of textbooks. They are in paragraph 5, Chapter 2; clause 1 - the field, Clause 2 - domestic and foreign music, Clause 3 - folk songs, clause 4 - rhythm, Clause 5 - tonality, Clause 6 - the ratio of music forms, Clause 7 - tonal range, Clause 8 - ½performance style, Clause 9 - the period trend of music in the textbook. Especially, ten required musical pieces in five sorts of textbooks are analyzed in paragraph 6. Synthesizing the result of this study, the fifth Curriculum, Comparing with the fourth, is not changed essentially. The goal of the two Curricula is same. And the minor goal and Content about three items ; in the fourth Curriculum basics expression, and appreciation abilities, have adjusted to those about two items in the fifth Curriculum; expression and appreciation abilities. Especially, the basic music theory is reinforced in the fifth Curriculum. The improvement is prominent in the following matters; the organization of Various Songs, the addition of music for appreciation, and the Collection of amusing rhythmical songs presented as reference or elective music, etc. But, the imbalance in the formation of textbook is shown as follows. 1. the organization which gives much primacy to songs.
