Henri Duparc의 가곡에 관한 분석연구

Abstract

Henri Duparc 는 Faure′, Debussy등과 더불어 프랑스 가곡사에서 주요한 작곡가이다. Duparc는 17곡의 독창 가곡을 작곡하였으나 그중 16곡만이 전해지고 있으며 이러한 가곡들은 그의 엄격한 음악에 대한 태도 때문에 극히 엄선된 곡 들 이기도 하다. 본 연구는 Duparc의 가곡 중 연대별에 따른 3개의 가곡 즉, Chanson Triste, E′le′gie, Phidyle′의 음악 내용과 그 구성의 면을 분석, 고찰한 것이며, 분석에 앞서 프랑스 가곡의 역사와 Duparc의 가곡의 일반적인 특징에 관해서도 살펴 보았다. Duparc의 가곡은 가곡내의 각 부분에 따른 조성, 피아노부 음형, 성악부 선율 음정, 음역, 리듬, 선율선의 성격에 있어 대비를 보여 주며, 성악부 선율은 한 특정음을 중심으로 흐르거나, 화음선을 뛰는 선율 진행 및 증4도 선율 진행과 함께 중·고음역, 고음역 위주의 진행이 많이 나타난다. 각 부분에 따른 장조와 단조의 대비, 이명동음을 통한 갑작스런 전조와 함께 전타음이 특징적인 비화성음으로 자주 응용 되며, 부가6도 화음, 부속7화음, 감7화음 및 7화음의 연속 진행등이 화성적인 특징이 된다. 피아노부는 반주의 역할이 아닌 성악부와의 이중주를 형성하는 중요한 역할을 하며, 성악부의 Recitative적인 진행, 서정적이면서 극적인 진행과 함께 전체적인 음악 진행은 원 시 의 내용에 부합되는 면을 보여 준다.;Henri Duparc is one of the major composers in the history of French Art Song with Faure and Debussy. Duprac had composed seventeen pieces of solo songs, among which sixteen pieces are handed down, and they are carefully selected songs because of his strictness about his music. This thesis is an analysis and a study for the world of substance and composition of his chanson Triste, Elegie and phidyle that are Duparc's major three songs. The history of French Song and the general characteristics of Duparc's songs are discussed as well. In Duparc's songs we can see the contrasts in the musical characteristics; form, style of accompaniment, progression of melodic lines, musical rang, and or progresses centering around midium-high or high musical range. Triton melody appears frequently in his melodic progression. It is harmonic Characteristics that with contrast of major and minor in each portion, sudden modulation through enharmonic, appoggiatura have wide application as non-harmonic notes, and that added sixth Chord, secondary dominant seventh chord, diminished seventh chord and seventh chord run success-vely. Piano part plays an important role of a composing duet, not of an accompaniment. Recitative melodic lines and dramatic, lyrical progresses of vocal music part enrich contents of original poems.
