미술전공 여대생들의 정서적 특징

Abstract

미술교육을 많이 받은 청소년들이 더 정서적인지 알아보기 위해 다음과 같은 연구문제를 검증하였다. 미술교육을 오랜 기간에 걸쳐 집중적으로 받은 학생들은 그렇지 않은 학생들에 비해서 정서적으로 더 친화적인 인간관계를 보일 것인가? 친화적인 인간관계를 주제통각 검사 반응상의 a. 협동적 주제, b. 친화적 정서단어 빈도, c. 대인관계를 소재로 조작적 정의를 하여 각각 가설을 정립하였다. 피험자를 경영대 학생과 미술전공 여대생으로 구분하여 각 집단에게 연구자가 선정한 세 종류의 그림을 보여 주고 그림 속 인물들의 관계를 과거, 현재, 미래의 시간적 경과 안에서 자유롭게 이야기로 구성하도록 하여 그 반응을 독립된 두 명의 평정자가 평정하였다. 연구 결과는 다음과 같았다. 1. 협동적 주제에서는 두 집단간에 유의미한 차이가 없었으며, 경쟁적 주제에서도 유의미한 차이를 보이지 않았다. 2. 친화적 정서단어의 빈도에서는 두 집단간에 유의미한 차이를 보였다. 3. 이야기 소재에 대하여 두 집단간에 빈도에서 유의미한 차이가 있었다. 이렇게 볼 때, 장기적으로 미술교육을 받은 학생은 그렇지 않은 학생에 비해 친화적인 정서 단어의 사용 빈도가 높고, 소재 빈도에서 유의미한 결과가 있었고, 다른 항목에서는 유의미한 결과를 얻지 못했다.;The purpose of this study is to find out if adolescents who have received more art education are more developed emotionally. The research question is are college students with more art education background more sociable than those who are not. Sociable interpersonal relationship is operationally defined according to the types of responses given to the thematic apperception test: a. cooperative theme, b. frequency of the use of sociable emotion words, c. interpersonal topic. Students of economics major and students of art major were grouped separately and they were shown to three pictures to make a story about the relationship of the characters in the past, present, and future for each picture. The result was as follows: 1. There was no group difference in the cooperative themes as well as competitive themes. 2. There was a group difference in the frequency of the use of sociable emotion words. 3. There was a group difference in the frequency of story topics. In conclusion, students who have received art education for a long period of time were using more sociable emotion words then those who are not. There was, however, no significant difference in the other types of responses.
