여성이주노동자의 불안정노동이 건강에 미치는 영향

Abstract

여성이주노동자는 여성, 이주민, 그리고 노동자로서 다층적인 어려움을 경험한다. 본 연구는 여성이주노동자의 불안정노동이 건강에 미치는 영향과 차별 경험이 미치는 매개효과를 분석하는 것을 목적으로 한다. 이를 위해 이민자 체류실태 및 고용조사 2022년 자료를 바탕으로 여성이주노동자의 불안정노동, 차별 경험, 건강 상태를 회귀분석하였다. 본 연구는 불안정노동을 고용불안정 소득불안정, 사회적 보호의 불안정의 3가지 차원으로 구성하였다. 연구 결과, 여성이주노동자의 노동 불안정성이 높을수록 직장 내 차별 경험이 증가하며, 이는 건강에 부정적인 영향을 미친 것으로 나타났다. 따라서 여성이주노동자의 불안정노동이 야기하는 차별이 건강에 미치는 부정적 영향을 완화하기 위한 정책 개입이 필요하다.;Female migrant workers experience multiple layers of difficulties as women, migrants, and workers. This study aims to analyze the impact of precarious work on the health of female migrant workers and the mediating effect of discrimination experience. To do so, we regressed precarious work, discrimination experience, and health status of female migrant workers on the 2022 Survey on Immigrants’ Living Conditions and Labour Force. Precarious work is composed of three dimensions: employment insecurity, income insecurity, and social protection insecurity. The results showed that the higher the labor insecurity of female migrant workers, the higher their experience of workplace discrimination, which had a negative impact on their health. Therefore, policy interventions are needed to mitigate the negative health impacts of discrimination caused by precarious work for female migrant workers.
