교육연극 기법을 활용한 현대소설 교육 방안 연구

Abstract

본 연구의 목적은 중국인 한국어 고급 학습자를 대상으로 교육연극을 활용하여 전반적인 한국어 현대소설 교육 방안을 마련하는 것이다. 이를 바탕으로 중국인 한국어 학습자는 한국어 통합 능력과 학습 흥미를 향상하고자 한다. 1장에서는 우선 연구의 필요성과 목적을 밝히고 한국어교육에서의 소설 활용에 대한 기존 연구와 교유연극을 활용한 선행 연구를 검토하였다. 선행 연구를 검토함으로써 본 연구의 필요성을 확인할 수 있었고 본 연구에 참고할 만한 자료를 확인하였다. 2장에서는 현대소설 교육과 교육연극의 이론적 배경을 탐구하였다. 한국어 교육에서 소설교육의 필요성과 목표를 제시했다. 또한, 교육연극을 소개하고, 교육연극의 개념과 종류를 설명하고, 본 연구에 적용할 수 있는 교육연극 방식을 제안하였다. 그리고 한국어 교육에서 교육연극을 활용하는 교육적 의미에 관해 연구하였다. 이어서 교육연극의 많은 기법 중에서 본 연구에서 채택할 교육연극 기법인 ‘역할극’과 ‘인터뷰하기’가 제안되었으며, 위의 교육연극 기법을 통해 본 연구에서 제시한 현대소설 교육의 목표를 달성하기 위한 것이다. 3장에서는 교육연극을 활용한 소설 작품의 선정 기준을 제시하였다. 이를 위해 먼저 기존 한국어 교재 중 현대소설의 수록 현황을 검토하여 서울지역 10개 대학 부속어학원과 중국에서 주로 사용되는 한국어 교재에 대한 수록 현황을 정리하고 내용을 분석하였으며, 기존 한국어 교재 중 학습 활동 설정 분석을 통해 기존 교재의 한계점과 개선점을 제시하였다. 이를 바탕으로 교육연극을 활용한 소설 작품 선정 기준을 제시하고 소설 ｢소나기｣ 선정을 진행했다. 제4장은 위 연구를 바탕으로 실제 현대소설 교육 방안을 제시하였다. 이에 앞서 교육연극을 활용한 소설교육의 방향에 대해 논의하고 교육연극을 활용한 소설교육의 목표와 학습 방법으로 분류하였다. 이어 소설교육의 교수·학습 모델과 교육연극의 교수·학습 모델을 분석하고 이를 바탕으로 교육연극을 활용한 소설교육의 교수·학습 모델을 제시했다. ‘준비·도입 단계, 실제 수업 활동 단계(교육연극 전, 중, 후)와 마무리 단계’로 나눌 수 있는 학습 단계에서 다양한 학습 활동이 도입됐다. 학습자의 능동적인 참여와 흥미 유발을 돕고 언어, 문화, 문학의 통합 수업을 실현하여 학습자의 듣기, 읽기, 말하기, 쓰기 능력을 향상하고 학습 주제로서의 학습자의 적극성을 발휘하는 것을 목적으로 한다. 마지막으로 ｢소나기｣의 실제 수업 방안을 제시하였다. 본 연구는 중국인 한국어 고급 학습자가 소설 수업에 적극적이고 능동적으로 참여할 수 있는 교육 방안을 모색하였다는 점에서 그 의미를 찾을 수 있다. 본 연구는 소설 ｢소나기｣를 중심으로 교육연극을 활용한 소설교육 방안을 제시했으나 실제 교육현장에 적용하지 못해 효율성과 효과를 검증하지 못했다. 그럼에도 본 연구는 교육연극을 활용하여 한국어 교육에서의 현대소설 교육에서의 새로운 시도로서 나아가기를 희망하며, 향후 효율성에 대한 검증 및 심도 있는 논의가 이어지길 기대하겠다.;The purpose of this study is to develop an overall plan for teaching modern Korean novels to Chinese advanced learners of Korean using educational plays. Based on this, Chinese Korean language learners seek to improve their Korean language integration ability and interest in learning. Chapter 1 first clarifies the necessity and purpose of the study and reviews existing research on the use of novels in Korean language education and previous studies using social play. By reviewing previous research, the need for this study was confirmed and reference materials for this study were identified. Chapter 2 explored the theoretical background of modern novel education and educational theater. The necessity and goals of novel education in Korean language education were presented. In addition, educational theater was introduced, the concept and types of educational theater were explained, and an educational theater method applicable to this study was proposed. Additionally, a study was conducted on the educational significance of using educational plays in Korean language education. Next, among the many techniques of educational theater, the educational theater techniques to be adopted in this study, 'role play' and 'interviewing', were proposed, and the goal of modern novel education presented in this study is achieved through the above educational theater 134 techniques. Chapter 3 presented criteria for selection of novels using educational plays. To this end, we first reviewed the inclusion status of modern novels among existing Korean language textbooks, organized the inclusion status of Korean language textbooks mainly used in language institutes affiliated with 10 universities in the Seoul area and in China, and analyzed the contents, and analyzed learning activity settings among existing Korean textbooks. Through this, the limitations and improvements of existing textbooks were presented. Based on this, criteria for selecting novel works using educational theater were presented and the novel “Shower” was selected. Chapter 4 presented an actual modern novel education plan based on the above study. Prior to this, the direction of novel education using educational plays was discussed and classified into the goals and learning methods of novel education using educational plays. Next, the teaching and learning model of novel education and the teaching and learning model of educational theater were analyzed, and based on this, a teaching and learning model of novel education using educational theater was presented. A variety of learning activities were introduced in the learning stage, which can be divided into ‘preparation/introduction stage, actual class activity stage (before, during, and after educational play), and final stage.’ The purpose is to help learners' active participation and interest, realize integrated classes of language, culture, and literature, improve learners' listening, reading, speaking, and writing skills, and demonstrate learners' proactiveness as a subject of study. Lastly, an actual teaching plan for “Shower” was presented. This study is meaningful in that it sought an educational plan that would enable advanced Chinese learners of Korean to actively and proactively participate in novel classes. This study proposed a novel education plan using educational plays focusing on the novel “Shower”, but could not verify its efficiency and effectiveness because it could not be applied to actual educational 135 settings. Nevertheless, this study hopes to advance as a new attempt at teaching modern novels in Korean language education by utilizing educational theater, and expects verification and in-depth discussions on effectiveness to continue in the future.
