Double Generalized Linear Model 을 이용한 사업장 화재의 보험료 예측 모형

Abstract

This study examines the modeling of fire insurance loss amounts using the Double Generalized Linear Model. In the proposed model, not only the mean parameter but also the dispersion parameter are modeled together, which has the advantage of being able to estimate the distribution of loss amounts more accurately than when only the mean parameter is modeled. Especially when the insurance premium is a simple/complex function of the insurance loss amount, it is important to estimate the accurate distribution of the loss amount, not just the mean parameter. The proposed method can provide a more accurate estimate of the insurance payment compared to the Generalized Linear Model that only models the mean of the parameters, and this has been confirmed through the analysis of actual fire data.;본 논문에서는 Double Generalized Linear Model을 활용하여 화재보험 손실액의 모델링에 대해서 알아보았다. 제안된 모형에서는 평균 모수 뿐만 아니라 Dispersion 모수까지 함께 모델링함으로써, 평균 모수만을 고려할 때보다 손실액의 분포를 더 정 확하게 추정할 수 있는 장점이 있다. 특히 보험금이 손실액의 간단하거나 복잡한 함수 로 표현되는 경우, 평균 모수 뿐 아니라 손실액의 정확한 분포를 추정하는 것이 중요 하다. 제시된 방법은 모수의 평균만을 고려하는 Generalized Linear Model에 비해 정확한 보험손실액 추정을 가능케 하였으며, 이를 실제 화재 데이터를 통한 분석을 통 해 확인하였다.
