The small number of women entrepreneurs is one of the national problems of Uzbekistan in recent years. There is a significant amount of literature on the challenges leading to the business failure of women. However, it is essential to find out the factors behind their success. Given the situation, the study aims to examine the reasons for the low number of women entrepreneurs and also factors that help women successfully continue their businesses by answering the research questions about the socio-economic barriers that women entrepreneurs face, the skills required to overcome them, the success factors of women entrepreneurs, and government support that can help empower them. Primary data was collected using qualitative methods. The study conducted a survey and an in-depth interview using the snowball method. The study finds the socio-economic challenges leading to women entrepreneurs' business failure, such as early marriage, lack of training, and limited financial funding, can be overtaken through increasing business management and financial accounting skills. Additionally, it identifies that the essential success factors that help women entrepreneurs continue their business are on-time training, family support, and networking among women entrepreneurs. Furthermore, it is essential that the government provide further funding for business development and employee training, and it needs to address the issues of water and electricity shortages with government subsidies to contribute to women's entrepreneurship in Uzbekistan.
