Combining ER and IR for Elementary Students

Abstract

This Textbook combines Extensive Reading (ER) and Intensive Reading (IR). According to Brumfit (1977), learners can gain skills through guided reading or free-reading in order to promote their language proficiency through reading for accuracy and reading for fluency.
