Johannes Brahms Violin Sonata No.1 in G Major, Op.78에 대한 연구

Abstract

요하네스 브람스(Johannes Brahms, 1833–1897)는 독일의 전통주의 작곡가이면서, 고전주의 형식 속에서 자신만의 자유로운 낭만주의적 특성을 드러내는 음악 형식을 펼쳐내 ‘고전적 낭만주의자’ 라 할 수 있다. 그는 낭만주의 시대 그가 만들어낸 다양한 형식의 협주곡, 교향곡, 실내악 곡 등의 음악은 지금까지 많은 사랑을 받아오고 있다. 브람스는 세 개의 바이올린 소나타를 작곡했는데, 그 중 「Violin Sonata No.1 in G Major, Op.78」은 고전주의 소나타 형식을 그대로 나타내어 베토벤(Ludwig van Beethoven, 1770 - 1827)의 영향을 받아 그의 틀을 따랐음을 볼 수 있다. 「Violin Sonata No.1 in G Major, Op.78」은 소나타 형식(Sonata form)이 적용된 1악장, 3부 형식(Ternary form) 이 적용된 2악장, 론도 형식(Rondo form)으로 작곡한 3악장으로 구성되어 있다. 또한 그의 가곡「비의 노래 (Regenlied) Op.59, No.3 」를 2악장의 주제 그리고 3악장 도입부에 인용하여 사용하여 정체성을 뚜렷히 했다. 본 논문에서는 1876 – 1890년 사이에 만들어진 브람스의 세 개의 소나타 중 가장 첫 번째에 만들어진「Violin Sonata No.1 in G Major, Op.78」을 중심으로 하여 이 곡의 각 악장 간의 특징을 분석하고 그 증거를 토대로 브람스 음악적 특징과 곡에 대한 분석을 연구 목적으로 하고 있다.;Johannes Brahms (1833–1897) was a German composer known for his traditionalist approach and his ability to express his own free romantic characteristics within the framework of classical forms. He can be described as a "classical romanticist" who unfolded a musical style that revealed his unique sense of freedom within the classical tradition. His various compositions, such as concertos, symphonies, and chamber music, have received much love and admiration throughout the years. Brahms composed three violin sonatas, and among them,「Violin Sonata No.1 in G Major, Op.78」 consists of three movements. The first movement follows the sonata form, the second movement employs a ternary form, and the third movement incorporates the 45 rondo form, while also quoting his song 「Rain Song(Regenlied)」. This paper aims to study the musical characteristics of Brahms, focusing on 「Violin Sonata No.1 in G Major, Op.78」, and analyzing the composition itself.
