중⋅고등학교 Wee 클래스의 음악치료 현황 및 전문상담교사들의 음악과의 관계에 따른 음악치료 인식조사

Abstract

본 연구는 최근 Wee 클래스의 음악치료 현황과 전문상담교사를 대상으로 개인의 음악과의 관계에 따른 음악치료 인식 차이를 알아보기 위한 목적으로 진행되었다. 연구 참여자는 전문상담교사 1, 2급을 소지한 중ㆍ고등학교 Wee 클래스에 소속된 전문상담교사이며, 총 59명의 전문상담교사가 응답한 설문지를 분석하였다. 첫째, Wee 클래스에서는 현재 기준 음악치료 시행률이 현저히 낮은 것으로 조사되었으며, 음악치료 미시행의 이유로는 음악치료에 대한 정보 및 인식 부족이 가장 큰 이유로 나타났다. 또한 Wee 클래스 음악치료를 제공하는 자의 기준은 전문가 자격 보유자가 가장 많은 것으로 확인되었다. 둘째, 음악치료를 시행한 경험이 있는 전문상담교사들은 음악치료 효과성에 대해 긍정적으로 인식하는 것으로 나타났다. 또한 음악치료 시행 경험이 있는 전문상담교사의 대다수(88.9%)가 음악치료의 지속적 제공 및 재제공 의사가 있다고 응답하였다. 음악치료의 지속적인 제공에 대한 이유로는 학생들의 선호 및 수요가 가장 높은 것으로 확인되었다. 셋째, 현재 음악치료를 시행하는 Wee 클래스의 전문상담교사가 음악치료 미시행 Wee 클래스의 전문상담교사 보다 음악교과와 음악치료 간의 차이를 인식하는 정도가 높은 것으로 나타났다. 넷째, 현재 음악 활동에 참여하고 있는 전문상담교사가 음악 활동에 참여하고 있지 않은 전문상담교사보다 음악치료에 대한 효과성 평가하는 정도가 높은 것으로 나타났다. 본 연구를 통하여 중ㆍ고등학교 Wee 클래스의 음악치료 실태와 전문상담교사들의 음악과의 관계에 따라 음악치료를 인식함을 확인할 수 있었으며, 이러한 결과들을 통해 다양한 심리ㆍ정서적 어려움을 겪고 있는 청소년들이 음악치료를 보다 쉽게 경험할 수 있도록 1차 안전망인 Wee 클래스 내의 원활한 음악치료 제공을 위한 자료로 활용될 수 있다는 점에서 의의가 있다. ;The purpose of this study is to examine the status of music therapy implementation in the Wee Class program and the perception of music therapy for school counselors based on their individual background and relationship with music. The study conducted survey analysis, targeting the 59 class 1 and 2 certified school counselors, who are currently associated with the Wee Class. First of all, through the survey, a remarkably low implementation rate of music therapy in the Wee class was explored, and low implementation mainly derived from the lack of information and recognition about music therapy. In addition, the majority of respondents selected professional certification as the standard for the provider of music therapy in the Wee Class. Secondly, school counselors with music therapy implementation experience recognize the effectiveness of music therapy positively. Also, most(88.9%) of these counselors desire to continuously provide or resume the provision of music therapy. The primary reason for counselors’ desire was students’ high preference and demand for music therapy. Thirdly, the Wee Class school counselors with music therapy implementation experience showed a higher degree of perception of the distinction between music subjects and music therapy compared to those counselors without experience. Lastly, school counselors currently involved in music activities evaluated the effectiveness of music therapy higher than uninvolved counselors. Through the research, the status of music therapy implementation in the middle and high school Wee Class, and school counselors’ music therapy perception based on the individual background and the relationship with music was examined, and the research is meaningful in that adolescents experiencing various types of psychological and emotional difficulties more easily involve in music therapy since, without obstacles, the investigation is applicable to the provision of music therapy in the Wee Class, which plays the very first safety net role.
