L. v. Beethoven Sonata for Violin and Piano No.7 in c minor, Op.30 No.2 의 분석 연구

Abstract

본 논문에서는 고전주의 음악의 틀을 완성 시키고 낭만주의 시대를 열었다고 평가받는 빈 고전파의 대표적인 독일 출생 작곡가 루트비히 판 베토벤(Ludwig Van Beethoven, 1770–1827)의 Violin Sonata in c minor No.7 Op.30 No.2에 대하여 분석하고자 한다. 1802년에 작곡되어 1803년에 출판된 이 곡은 Op.30의 세 곡 중 두 번째 곡으로 베토벤이 청력 문제로 큰 고통을 받던 시기에 작곡된 곡이다. 오스트리아의 외곽 도시인 하일리겐슈타트(Heiligenstadt)에서 작곡되었으며, 이 곡이 쓰인 당시에 베토벤의 유서로 유명한‘하일리겐슈타트 유서’가 쓰였다. Op.30은 러시아 황제인 알렉산더 1세(AlexanderⅠ)에게 헌정되어‘알렉산더 소나타(Alexander Sonata)’라고도 불리며 그중에서도 7번 소나타는 동시대 작곡가인 하이든(Franz Joseph Haydn, 1732–1809)과 모차르트(Wolfgang Amadeus Mozart, 1756-1791)가 확립한 고전주의 음악의 틀을 계승하는 면모가 보이는 동시에 베토벤의 7번 이전의 소나타들과 달리 바이올린이 피아노와 동등한 역할을 한다는 점에서 더 이상 고전주의 음악만을 계승하는 것이 아닌 베토벤 자신만의 개성을 구축해나간다는 중요한 가치를 내포하고 있다. 본 곡의 본격적인 논의에 앞서 먼저 서론에서 연구의 목적을 밝힌 후, 본론에서 베토벤의 생애와 바이올린 소나타 작품들의 전반적인 특징에 대해 살펴보고 No.7 Op.30 No.2의 각 악장 구조와 동기, 화성, 악상, 짜임새, 바이올린과 피아노의 관계 등을 중점적으로 분석하였다.;The purpose of this study is to analyze and understand Beethoven Violin Sonata No.7 in c minor Op.30 No.2. As a dedication to the Russian emperor AlexanderⅠ, Sonata No.7 was composed in 1802 and published in 1803. The Violin Sonata Op.30 consists of three songs, which were composed during Beethoven's stay in Heiligenstadt, Austria. It is worth nothing that it was during this pivotal period that Beethoven, struggling with his ear disease, wrote the‘Heiligenstadt suicide note'. There are three conspicuous periods that reflect Beethoven's musical style transition: first, second, and third period. Sonata No.7 demonstrates Beethoven's evolving style during the transition from first to second period. It not only inherits the characteristics of influential composers like Haydn and Mozart but also displays Beethoven's unique and innovative characteristics. Sonata No.7 displays great significance as it deviates from the conventional three-movement structure commonly found in the classical sonata form. Instead, it incorporates Beethoven's unique musical personality by adding an additional movement: the fourth movement. Before engaging in comprehensive analysis, the study's introduction clarifies its purpose. Subsequently, it shows the overview of L.v.Beethoven's life. Then the focus shifts towards the examination of overall Beethoven's violin sonata. Finally the study meticulously analyzes the structure, harmony, music, and organization of each movement.
